Adrian has been writing, critiquing, and thinking about games since he first picked up an N64 controller many years ago. These days he writes reviews, news, and features for Game Rant and believes games should be held to the same artistic standards as books, movies, and television shows. When he’s not writing for Game Rant, Adrian writes even more reviews for Sirus Gaming and likes to get nerdy about tech and retro games at HackerNoon. Outside the gaming world, he spends plenty of time enjoying movies or listening to every genre of music under the sun. Follow him on Twitter for nonsense tweets likely related to Dragon Ball Z, or check out Breadhouse Records for some tunes.
A massive free DLC update titled Extended Operations has arrived for 007 First Light, adding New Game+, Photo Mode, new missions, and hundreds of fixes. 007 First Light is IO Interactive’s first original James Bond adventure following a young Bond as he works toward earning his 00 status.
007 First Light Extended Operations Is Available Now for Free
IO Interactive launched Extended Operations as a completely free DLC update for 007 First Light owners on October 1. The expansion’s biggest additions include New Game+, Photo Mode, a new 00 difficulty, the Jungle Heist TacSim Operation, and the Valhalla Protocol TacSim Activity, alongside new weapons, outfits, improved weapon animations, and more than 700 bug fixes and improvements. New Game+ unlocks only after completing the campaign and now lets players change Bond’s outfit using the Mission Wardrobe while also switching between previously unlocked gadgets during missions. The new 00 difficulty also requires campaign completion and makes enemies more perceptive and dangerous while reducing the gadget resources players receive. Extended Operations arrives as update version 1.3.0 for all platforms.
