Sony has pulled back the curtain on its upcoming list of PS Plus games on the Extra and Premium tiers, confirming a total of 8 games for the former and 2 games for the latter. PS Plus Extra is being headlined by RuneScape: Dragonwilds, as has been confirmed for months, but it has several supporting games releasing across four major waves: September 9, September 15, September 22, and September 29.

In the past, the PS Plus Extra and Premium games were a massive addition on one day, but it seems that Sony has turned to releasing them periodically throughout half the month (or so). One of the PS Plus Extra games is available much sooner than the rest, with Date Everything (a dating sim about dating the furniture around a house) joining on September 9. In other words, fans will be able to download it soon, while the rest come at later dates.

It’s a pretty solid list, with RuneScape: Dragonwilds representing the first time the franchise has come to consoles. For those unaware, it’s an open-world survival-crafting co-op game where players gather resources, craft, build, and fight dragons on the mysterious continent of Ashenfall. As a headliner, it is joined by the latest WWE wrestling simulation game in WWE 2K26 and a roguelike monster-slaying, bouncing-ball combat game in Ball X Pit. Joining Ball X Pit on September 22 (as RuneScape and WWE are on September 15) is Slitterhead, a horror action game from the creator of Silent Hill where players hunt monsters disguised as humans. Players can also possess different people to gain new abilities.

The PS Plus games for September 29 include Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg, and Sniper Elite: Resistance. In order, that’s a 2D action platformer going back to its roots, an action RPG about magical dungeon-crawling and building relationships in a town, and a stealth shooter set during World War 2. There’s variety, if nothing else.

The highest tier of PS Plus is Premium, granting players access to a classic game catalog as well. They’ll find Mega Man X Command Mission, a turn-based spin-off RPG, there on September 15, as well as a remastered collection of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light in Metro Redux. That’s an excellent game to play ahead of Metro 2039‘s release in 2027.
