Rockstar Games has officially pulled the curtain back on the Grand Theft Auto 6 premium Collector’s Box, with pre-orders available now. Grand Theft Auto 6 is not getting a traditional Collector’s Edition, and so this newly-revealed Collector’s Box is the closest thing that fans will get, though some may balk at the high price point.
When Grand Theft Auto 6 launches on November 19, two versions of the game will be available. The standard version of the game will retail for $79.99, while the Ultimate Edition will cost $99.99. The Ultimate Edition of GTA 6 comes with exclusive access to various in-game stores and other features, meaning it may very well be worth the price of admission for hardcore fans. Those that only buy the standard $80 version of the game should still be getting their money’s worth and then some, however.

Notably, the GTA 6 Collector’s Box does not come with a copy of the game, adding to the growing list of controversies when it comes to the release of the highly-anticipated title. Fans were in an uproar when it was announced that GTA 6 will not have a disc, even if you buy the physical boxed version. Instead, physical copies of GTA 6 simply come with a code in the box, a revelation that has not sat well with many, to say the least.
There are also those that are upset that GTA 6 is not going to be on PC at launch. Rockstar Games has a long history of delaying the PC versions of their games, and the same is happening with GTA 6, which will only be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S when it releases later this year. GTA 6 is going to get a PC port eventually, but the latest info suggests it won’t be available until at some point in 2027 at the earliest.
While there are undoubtedly controversies surrounding GTA 6, the hype for the game is still unprecedented, and it’s likely going to be a record-breaker. The announcement of the new Collector’s Box also solidifies Rockstar’s confidence in GTA 6 meeting its planned release date of November 19, so fans can rest easy.
