Somewhere, there’s a gaming couple on their way to the altar with the blessing of PlayStation. The future bride and groom apparently sent an invitation to Sony to attend their wedding and in return received a handwritten note of congratulations as well as a few game codes.

The couple shared their gifts online and it quickly went viral. The note Sony sent them was also visible in the video, and it reads, “Aidan and Kirsten, congratulations on your marriage!” A printed message below that line states, “Congratulations and thank you for playing with us.”

As noted in the post above, the game codes were for Spider-Man 2, Horizon: Call of the Mountain, and a Fortnite bundle. The first and third titles are playable on any PlayStation 5, but the happy couple will need to pick up a PSVR2 to play Call of the Mountain.

The couple’s invitation begs the following question: Who did they expect to show up if Sony accepted it? The following suggestion of Kratos and Eve was one of the best responses to that question that we saw on X.

Speaking of Kratos, Sony recently shadow-dropped the prequel sidescroller God of War: Sons of Sparta. Strangely enough, Sony also filed a patent for AI-generated and hosted podcasts that will potentially feature characters from PlayStation games delivering targeted PS news to listeners. If the technology can do everything Sony claims it can, then it wouldn’t be out of the question for Kratos and Eve to host a podcast.
