Dispatch fans have been hoping for a second season ever since the superhero adventure game became one of 2025’s biggest surprises, and some of its most recognizable cast members are just as eager to return. Dispatch brought together an impressive cast, including Aaron Paul (Robert Robertson III), Laura Bailey (Invisigal), and Erin Yvette (Blonde Blazer).

The success of Dispatch has naturally raised questions about what comes next, especially considering how much room there is to explore Dispatch‘s characters and relationships. The game’s episodic format makes a second season particularly appealing, allowing AdHoc Studio to continue Robert’s story while introducing new conflicts and player decisions. AdHoc has yet to officially announce Dispatch Season 2, but there’s no shortage of enthusiasm for another one, including from the actors who brought the original game to life.

Paul, Bailey, and Yvette Want Dispatch Season 2

As shared by YouTuber DomTheBomb, Paul, Bailey, and Yvette have all expressed enthusiasm for Dispatch Season 2 during the game’s recently released Episode 2 cast commentary. The commentary features the actors discussing their experiences working on Dispatch, including its characters and the possibility of continuing the story. At one point, the conversation turns toward making another season, with the cast enthusiastically declaring:

Let’s make a Season 2. Oh my God, can we please? You heard it here first on Episode 2 commentary. There will be a Season 2, we’ve decreed it. We’re going make it happen.

Importantly, the comments aren’t an official announcement of Dispatch Season 2, despite how excited the cast members sound. The actors are clearly having fun with the idea, but there’s a difference between wanting another season and AdHoc Studio confirming one. Still, hearing 3 major cast members for Dispatch express this much enthusiasm is encouraging, particularly when their performances are such a huge part of the original game’s appeal.

The characters are central to Dispatch’s success. Robert serves as the protagonist, but much of the game’s personality comes from his choices with the Z-Team, particularly Invisigal, as well as Blonde Blazer. Their relationships with Robert develop differently depending on player choices, giving the story emotional weight beyond its superhero comedy. A second season could build on those relationships, although accounting for players’ decisions would present some interesting challenges (especially regarding the game’s romances). AdHoc would also have to decide how much of the original story to carry forward.

As for when Dispatch Season 2 could happen, there’s no confirmed release window or indication that production is officially underway. AdHoc Studio has previously acknowledged the possibility of continuing the franchise, but the developer also has other projects in development, including a game based on Critical Role.
