How To Increase Grades In Type Soul
To increase your Grades in Type Soul, you just need to earn Exp. However, different activities reward players with different types of Exp. In other words, it’s not enough for you to just hunt other players or complete Raids.
Moreover, for each faction, the amount and types of Exp required differ. Below, you will find lists of all Grades and how to achieve them in Type Soul for each of the three factions.
Soul Reaper Grades Explained
- Trainee – Grade 3: This is the period when you have just started the Shinigami path in Type Soul. To progress, you need to complete Missions as a team and earn Exp this way.
- Grade 3 – Grade 2: At this stage, Divisions are available to you. Join one of them to start earning Division Exp in addition to Mission Exp.
- Grade 2 – Semi Grade 1: Starting at Grade 2, Soul Reapers can acquire Shikai and gain Shikai Exp.
You will be able to progress beyond Grade 2 only by acquiring Shikai. And don’t forget to keep earning Division Exp and Mission Exp.
- Semi Grade 1 – Elite Grade: To achieve the highest Grade as a Shinigami, you need to earn each of the Exp types described, as well as grip EXP. This way, you will be one step closer to obtaining Bankai.

- Menos: You will get Grade 5.
- Adjuchas: You will get Grade 3.
- Vastolorde: You will get Semi-Grade 2.
