Many hidden Discoveries in Aniimo are locked under certain conditions; in this case, players might have stumbled by chance with a Sad Skippy named Patini, who has misplaced his lotus leaf. This Aniimo NPC can be found in the Nimbus Fields, and if players don’t know where to look for it, they can totally miss a chance to learn more about the Skyppi family and its evolution line.
So, to complete this subquest and find Skippy’s Leaf, we’ve put up a step-by-step guide on how to spot Patini, where to find his Lotus Leaf, and how to recover it.
Where To Find Patini The Sad Skippy in Aniimo
This subquest begins when you are near the Nimbus Field lake. If you follow Nicole and then look to the right side, you will see a couple of Skippys swimming around. Make sure to catch one, and continue down the river to spot a strange creature on the shore to the right side of the riverbank.
It’s a leafless Skippy, hidden among the rocks: His name is Patini, and he is sad because he lost his Lotus Leaf. Twine with a Skippy and talk to it to begin the search for his Missing Leaf.
What you need to do next, is to capture a Pranky. Make sure to Twine with Pranky and continue down the river, past the cascade. Look to your right to spot a Pranky sleeping over the Missing Leaf.
Skippy and Pranky are members of the same Aniimo family. Skippy evolves into Pranky at level 12, then, it evolves into Glacy. Glacy’s Prismana Form is one of the strongest Aniimo in the game. So consider choosing it as your free Prismana.
Talk to this Pranky and try to convince him that the Sad Skippy needs the leaf. His problem is that he cannot sleep well, so choose the option that says: “How about some exercise?” to retrieve the Lotus Leaf and then go back to Skippy.
Twine with your Skippy once more, then deliver the Lotus Leaf. You’ll see a brief cutscene, and after that Patini will reveal the location of a hidden treasure chest that contains lots of valuables you can use in your journey through Idyll.
There are a lot of hidden discoveries to find in Aniimo (Like the Starine Fruit and the Celestis Nest); make sure to keep your eyes peeled to spot them all.
