Animal Crossing is filled with tons of cozy game activities, from catching bugs and going fishing to getting to know villagers, but one of the most iconic features is decorating a personalized living space: in a single room or island. The former is the focus of Animal Crossing: Happy Room. As fans know, Animal Crossing: New Horizons took that concept further than previous entries, giving players an enormous amount of control over their homes, furniture, and outdoor decorations. Even years after its original release, the game’s customization options remain one of its most recognizable features.

The sheer popularity of Animal Crossing: New Horizons also helped introduce many players to the franchise’s lovable cast of characters, including Isabelle, Tom Nook, and the countless villagers who can move onto an island. While every villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons has a distinct personality, the game’s colorful art style and cozy environments are just as important to its identity. Decorating a home to reflect a favorite character or theme is practically a game in itself, and there are plenty of ways to celebrate that part of Animal Crossing outside the Nintendo Switch.

One of the more distinctive features of the Animal Crossing Happy Room collection is that the miniature environments can be combined. Each set includes a small room that fans can assemble and display independently, but the rooms are also designed to stack together. Collectors who obtain multiple designs can create a multilevel display featuring several different scenes, almost like building a miniature apartment complex filled with Animal Crossing characters. The pieces can also be mixed and matched, giving fans some freedom to customize their arrangements and really driving home Animal Crossing‘s home decor customization focus.

Hamee offers two ways to buy the Animal Crossing Happy Room collectibles. A single blind box costs $16.99 and contains one of the six designs selected at random, while the full-set option includes all six without duplicates. The retailer currently lists the individual blind-box option as back-ordered, meaning orders will ship once additional stock becomes available. The collectibles have also received positive customer feedback, with 16 of the 17 reviews on Hamee awarding five stars and particularly praising the miniature figures’ details and overall presentation.

For Animal Crossing fans who enjoy decorating their homes in New Horizons, the Happy Room collection offers a similar concept on a much smaller scale. Hopefully, the next new Animal Crossing game also takes customization as far as ACNH and Happy Room.
