Arc Raiders What We Left Behind Quest Guide

Arc Raiders has multiple quests that send you trekking across multiple maps, and What We Left Behind is one of them you’ll encounter along the way. This quest asks you to go to Buried City, Dam Battlegrounds, and Spaceport to search for specific things, and rounding up the correct spots to visit can be a challenge if you’re not familiar with the maps yet. That’s alright, though–that’s where we come in.

Keep in mind that, since you won’t need to extract with any items to complete any steps in What We Left Behind, you can comfortably head in with a free loadout to avoid risking any of your good loot. But, of course, you’re also welcome to bring your best stuff if you’d rather be ready for a fight.

When you’re ready to get started, here’s how to complete each step of What We Left Behind.

On Buried City, search 2 containers in the Raider Camp beneath the Parking Garage

The first part of the quest sends you to the Parking Garage on the northwestern side of Buried City. This is a common spot for folks to loot cars, so keep an eye out for other raiders.

When you arrive at the Parking Garage, walk to the first floor and look for a door labeled “01” beside it. This door will need to be breached to open it, so scout out your surroundings to make sure you’re alone, then quickly breach it.

Breach this door, then head down the zipline behind it.

Head down the zipline inside to reach the Raider Camp. Loot any two containers in this room below the Parking Garage to complete the first step of the quest. Go ahead and extract when you’re all set to head home, then you’ll be set for the second portion of this adventure.

On Dam Battlegrounds, search for anything significant in the South Swamp Outpost

The second step of the quest sends you to the South Swamp Outpost on the western side of Dam Battlegrounds. This is a pretty safe and low-traffic area, but it’s still a good idea to approach with caution in case any hostile raiders are also doing this quest.

With the Dam Battlegrounds portion of things out of the way, you’re all set to extract and get started on the final part of the quest.

On Spaceport, search for anything significant in Bilguun’s Hideout, next to the Container Storage

The third part of the quest sends you to Bilguun’s Hideout in Spaceport. This is a depot connected to the giant cement wall directly beside Container Storage, and it’s not likely to be occupied in most games. As always, stay frosty just in case, though.

When you arrive, you’ll spot Bilguun’s Hideout above you. There’s a yellow ladder leading up to the hideout, making it easy to access from the ground below.

Once inside, check the left side of the hideout for notes you can interact with.

Once you’ve found the notes, you can wrap the quest up by extracting, then speaking with Tian Wen back in Speranza. That was quite a series of trips–but rest assured, there are still plenty more Arc Raiders quests to face down. So, for more on this extraction shooter, have a look at our comprehensive guides hub.
