The past couple of weeks have been particularly thrilling for the PUBG community, as the developers teased a potential crossover with Stellar Blade. Not only has the Stellar Blade crossover officially arrived, but it comes alongside a brand-new co-op game mode.

PUBG: Battlegrounds finally adds a prop hunt mode, though there is one important caveat that players should keep in mind.

PUBG: Battlegrounds Update 41.1 Brings New Xeno Point Mode

PUBG has officially rolled out Update 41.1. The headline feature of this patch is the brand-new Xeno Point mode, which throws players into a co-op battle against an alien invasion on Miramar. The mode can be accessed through the Arcade section, and each session kicks off at the HUB, where players enter through open doors and fight their way through waves of enemies. While fighting Xenos, players must also complete a series of objectives and keep a close eye on each other’s vital stats and equipment. Players can switch up their playstyle with Blue Chip Skills and unleash Super abilities. Alongside the mode, Krafton has introduced the Event Pass: Xeno Point and announced the Xeno Point Streamer Challenge with a total prize pool of $100,000.

However, Xeno Point is not the only major addition in this update, as it also brings the long-awaited Stellar Blade crossover. Eve from the game has made her way into PUBG as the third Contender, available in Workshop to unlock. She’s the first Ultimate Contender in PUBG, and as she levels up, her appearance and hair colors evolve in stages. This gives players the option to create a unique look for the character. The crossover further expands with kill effects, emotes, lobby poses, a parachute, a backpack set, and other items to collect and take into battle. The update also revives the aespa collaboration, bringing back weapon skins, emotes, frying pans, and more for fans to enjoy in one of the best battle royale games.

Just like the previous PUBG update, 41.1 also brings gameplay improvements and new features. The Destructible Terrain feature has now been extended to Erangel, new weapon attachments have been added, and both the Emergency Support Flare and the Blue Chip Tower have also been introduced. The patch wraps up with a range of crucial bug fixes.
