Unsurprisingly, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered update has also pushed the game up the sales charts. According to Steam’s official sales stats, it is the ninth best-selling title on the platform at the time of writing. While there are no reliable figures for the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store, both platforms are likely seeing a similar spike in demand.
Now, all eyes are on the upcoming Witcher 3 DLC, Songs of the Past. An exact release date has yet to be revealed, but the developer plans to launch it sometime in 2027. Given the massive impact of the current update, the expansion could potentially help CDPR’s acclaimed RPG break even more records.
Alongside the Songs of the Past expansion, CD Projekt Red is also developing the next mainline Witcher installment.
