- New playlists are coming to Modern Warfare 3 this week, giving fans a fresh way to play.

- Modern Warfare 2 Mosh Pit brings back fan-favorite maps from last year’s game.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 revealed new playlists coming later this week. One of the new modes offers Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 fans something new in Team Gunfight, while the other gives fans a throwback option in Modern Warfare 2 Mosh Pit.
Modern Warfare 3 usually updates its rotational playlists every week to give users a new way to play. Sometimes these playlists are basic additions like Rust 24/7, and other times they are entirely new and unique game modes, like Modern Warfare 3‘s Vortex playlist, which is no longer available. Vortex introduced reskins of three Modern Warfare 3 maps centered around the mode’s zombie theme, as well as a wild new approach to the Free for All mode. While this week’s playlists probably aren’t as robust, fans of certain Call of Duty modes are likely excited for their introduction.
Call of Duty: Warzone Makes Changes to MTZ Interceptor and WSP Swarm
Raven Software reveals major changes to popular Call of Duty: Warzone weapons including the MTZ Interceptor and WSP Swarm.
On Wednesday, January 24, Modern Warfare 3 will update its weekly playlists to include Team Gunfight and Modern Warfare 2 Mosh Pit. In Team Gunfight, two teams of six play against each other on standard Multiplayer maps while using Gunfight’s unique settings. This means that each player has one life per round and will not have automatic health regeneration. Each player also receives the same random loadout, which changes every couple of rounds, to ensure fairness and force users to adopt new strategies. This mode will finally give Call of Duty‘s Gunfight fans a new way to play. The other weekly mode, Modern Warfare 2 Mosh Pit, will allow users to play on some of the fan-favorite maps from last year’s Call of Duty. Previously, this mode was temporarily added to Modern Warfare 3 shortly after its launch and included the maps Farm 18, Crown Raceway, Mercado Las Almas, and Shoot House.
New Modes Coming to Modern Warfare 3 on January 24
- Team Gunfight
- Modern Warfare 2 Mosh Pit
It’s not yet known whether the Modern Warfare 2 Mosh Pit playlist will include the same maps this time around, or add new ones. Other fan-favorite Modern Warfare 2 maps include Breenbergh Hotel, El Asilo, Al Bagra Fortress, and more, some of which could be implemented in this week’s playlist. However, this is just speculation.
Many Modern Warfare 3 fans are probably hoping for a return to normalcy after last week’s disastrous Call of Duty update, which introduced a plethora of major bugs to both Warzone and Multiplayer. Since then, Call of Duty has released a set of patches that fixed most of the update’s more frustrating issues. However, some glitches remain in the game.
