Today’s Summer Game Fest-adjacent PlayStation State of Play is the longest Sony showcase in a bit and gives the console maker a chance to set the stage for the final years of the PS5. We’ve already been promised a deep dive into September’s Wolverine game from Insomniac, but all eyes are on updates to what the rest of Sony’s first-party studios have been working on. Rumors are already swirling about a reveal for the worst-kept secret at Santa Monica Studios, which is reportedly a new God of War spin-off featuring Freya. Expect big announcements from third-party partners as well.
