Although Season 3 of Diablo 4 offers players many activities, the core goal for players in the post-story game is the mysterious Vaults and rewards in Wardwoven Chests. By completing any of the Vaults or its Nightmare versions, players can open a free chest and receive many valuable items as a reward. However, next to a regular chest, there is always one or more Wardwoven Chests that are much more difficult to open.
Since Vaults are filled with traps, it’s not hard to imagine that avoiding damage from these mechanisms can reward the player. Of course, it is not an easy challenge, but players who want to get all the rewards at the end of the path should try their best.
Diablo 4: How to Get Governing and Tuning Stones
There are a couple of ways you can get Governing and Tuning Stones in Diablo 4, and here we’ll tell you a bit more about each of them.
How To Open Wardwoven Chests in Diablo 4
To open Wardwoven Chests in Diablo 4, players must complete Vaults while saving as many stacks of Zoltun’s Warding as possible. At the same time, each Wardwoven Chest has its own price depending on the level and the rewards it contains. Thus, by participating in Vaults on higher World Tiers or completing Nightmare Vaults, you can find two or more chests at the end of the path and open them for the following price:
- Ordinary Chest: Opening this chest does not require Zoltun’s Warding.
- World Tier 1 & 2 Chest: Must save one Stack of Zoltun’s Warding.
- World Tier 3 Chest: Must save four Stacks of Zoltun’s Warding.
- World Tier 4 Chest: Must save 10 Stacks of Zoltun’s Warding.
Thus, to open all the chests after completing Vaults, players will need about 15 Zoltun’s Warding. Players need to interact with the Statue of Zoltun Kulle at the beginning of each challenge and sacrifice Pearls of Warding in exchange for the blessing to get more stacks of this buff. Each Pearl will give the player three stacks of Zoltun’s Warding. As for obtaining these pearls, players can find them in chests at the end of the Vault or get them by defeating the Herald of Malphas mini-boss during Arcane Tremors.
Diablo 4: How to Upgrade Your Seneschal
Seneschal in Diablo 4 is a Construct, a robot-like creature that will follow you and fight alongside you, and here we’ll tell you how to upgrade it.
As mentioned earlier, when receiving damage from a trap, a player loses one stack of blessings. Although the variety of traps will force you to spend a lot of time studying them, eventually, you will learn how they work and will be able to avoid almost everything. Additionally, the game does not limit players to how many pearls they can place in the Statue of Zoltun Kulle at one time. Simply put, you can donate dozens of pearls to the statue and receive enough stacks of blessings to run through the Vault without paying attention to the traps.
Of course, this method is quite expensive and time-consuming, since you will have to farm Pearls of Warding for a long time. However, this also allows you to quickly learn and get used to all the traps and receive all the rewards at much lower costs in the future.
