- Elden Ring update didn’t nerf Impenetrable Thorns, surprising fans.
- Ash of War: Swift Slash and Rolling Sparks were adjusted, but not Thorns.
- Thorns effective in PvP with high Faith, Arcane, and Intelligence.
Elden Ring fans are surprised that the latest update didn’t nerf the Impenetrable Thorns, which has been one of the most broken sorceries that was added as part of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The latest Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree update fixed a plethora of bugs in the game, but most important of all was the changes to a couple of skills in the game. The damage dealt by Ash of War: Swift Slash and Rolling Sparks was significantly reduced after the patch. This means that players could no longer rely on the powerful Lightning Perfume Bottle in Elden Ring to one-shot bosses. However, there is another strategy that is still quite effective.
