Today marks the 17th day of the ongoing promotion, which started with a 100% discount on Hogwarts Legacy on December 11. The most recent giveaways on the Epic Games Store centered on Disco Elysium – The Final Cut and We Were Here Together, offered on December 25 and 26, respectively.

This marks the first time ever that Cassette Beasts is free to claim on the Epic Games Store.

Developed by Brighton-based Bytten Studio, Cassette Beasts is a 2023 monster-taming RPG that’s likely to appeal to Pokemon fans who feel like they have outgrown Game Freak’s franchise and consequently find it too easy nowadays. In contrast to Pokemon, the game emphasizes more tactical gameplay, where status effects and type matchups play a greater role.
