A Brief Intro to Out of Sight

A Rare Example of a Second-Person Game

Out of Sight is a 2025 short horror puzzle adventure that follows Sophie, a blind girl who can see through her teddy bear’s eyes, as she attempts to escape a sinister mansion. The game thus adopts a rare second-person perspective, with players using Teddy to guide Sophie through environmental puzzles, explore rooms, evade her captors, and uncover the history of the ominous manor Out of Sight takes place in.

TerraScape Explained in 4 Sentences

The debut title from German developer Bitfall Studios, TerraScape combines medieval city building with card-based puzzles, challenging players to turn small settlements into thriving kingdoms through careful building placement. Placing structures next to suitable terrain and buildings earns points, unlocks additional cards, and fuels further expansion, while special combinations grant bonus rewards. The colorful genre hybrid originally launched as an early access title in April 2023 before receiving a full-fledged release in July of the following year. TerraScape found a small but loyal following of strategy fans who praised it for its relaxed experience across solo, cooperative, and competitive modes, ultimately contributing over 900 “Very Positive” Steam user reviews.

Epic Is on Pace to Give Away More Games This Year Than in 2025

Before the October 8 giveaway kicks off, Epic Games Store users can claim Buried Stars and System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. Valued at $69.98, the two titles are temporarily available as part of the first official EGS giveaway for October 2026. Not including the ongoing dual-freebie offer, the Fortnite developer has given away $1,591.34 worth of games and DLC since the beginning of 2026, a year-on-year increase of $164.82, or approximately 11.55%. By another measure, the first three quarters of 2026 featured EGS giveaways spanning 70 products, including 65 games and five DLC packs. That is eight products, or approximately 11.43%, more than between January 1 and October 1, 2025.

What to Expect from Epic Games Store Giveaways in Q4 2026

Epic’s Historically Most Generous Quarter of the Year Is Officially Underway

Epic’s regular weekly giveaways are expected to continue for approximately 11 more weeks, until mid-December. During the final two weeks of 2026, the company will likely switch things up with another one of its large-scale holiday promotions, which traditionally feature more than a dozen freebies, with most of them rotated daily. The 2025 edition of Epic’s grand holiday giveaway kicked off with a week-long opportunity to claim the best-selling game of 2023 at no cost, followed by 14 daily freebies.
