Developer Sleepless Clinic’s 2018 Sci-Fi survival management game, Symmetry, is currently free on the Epic Games Store. Symmetry is just one of four games that Epic Games Store users can claim for free right now.
For almost a decade now, the Epic Games Store has offered at least one free game every week. These free EGS games have ranged from lesser-known indie titles like Universe for Sale, to major AAA releases like Hogwarts Legacy. A total of 20 free games have been offered on the Epic Games Store so far in 2026, though these weekly games have occasionally been joined by a rogue, bonus free game. That’s exactly the case with this week’s free Epic Games Store games, with Symmetry now being available right alongside them.
Every Free Game Released On The Epic Games Store (March 2026)
Here’s a list of all the games that have been made free on the Epic Games Store. You have until April 2 to get the current free games.
Symmetry Is Free on the Epic Games Store
Until April 1, Epic Games Store users can claim Symmetry entirely free of charge. Originally released in February 2018, Symmetry sees players take control of a spaceship crew who have just survived a crash-landing on an abandoned planet. In classic survival management fashion, players will need to ensure each member of the crew has enough to eat and rests well enough to carry out vital ship repairs, all while the planet’s extreme weather conditions and an assortment of supernatural entities threaten to end their journey early. Along the way, players will make various moral choices that determine the future of their makeshift colony.

Symmetry was met with a somewhat disappointing critical reception when it launched in 2018. On OpenCritic, Symmetry has a Top Critic Average of 63, with a critic recommendation score of just 13%. While many critics praised Symmetry‘s art style and intriguing story, many took issue with its core gameplay, citing its control scheme, lack of content, and excessive difficulty as major downsides.
Every Free Game Available on the Epic Games Store Right Now
As of March 27, there are four free games currently available on the Epic Games Store, including Symmetry. Wave Gods: Ammo Night is a first-person zombie horde shooter developed by Vault Games. This 6-player co-op shooter is free on the Epic Games Store until March 29. Then there’s Havendock and Hyper Echelon, the two free weekly Epic Games Store games that are both available until April 2.
Released in April 2025, Havendock is a cozy colony sim that sees players creating a little settlement on the ocean. Players will collect building materials from floating debris, build a variety of unique facilities, grow food, raise animals, welcome new settlers, and eventually find themselves in charge of a bustling little raft city. Hyper Echelon, on the other hand, is a throwback retro Sci-Fi shoot-em-up that initially launched in November 2021. With a squad of wingmen at their side, players will battle through 10 distinct worlds, blasting away at a variety of alien foes as they gradually upgrade their ship with powerful new components.
On April 2, Havendock and Hyper Echelon will be replaced with a new free Epic Games Store game. Next week’s free EGS game will be Clone Drone in the Danger Zone, another 2021 title with a Sci-Fi flavor. However, unlike Hyper Echelon, Clone Drone in the Danger Zone is a “voxel slice-em-up” in which players assume the role of a robot gladiator thrust into fierce PvP and PvE battles. Players will be able to use a variety of weapons and gadgets across Clone Drone in the Danger Zone‘s online multiplayer, co-op, and solo story modes when the game is offered for free between April 2–9.
