- Chiori’s kit in Genshin Impact has been compared favorably to Albedo and Keqing, and she looks like a compelling new Geo five-star.
- Her signature weapon, Yuraku Odenkiri, offers a Crit DMG sub-stat and provides buffs to normal/charged attacks and elemental skills.
- Chiori’s leaked gameplay reveals that her skill summons a puppet that deals AOE Geo DMG and can be used in coordination with other characters or for Geo infusion.
In the recent event in which Genshin Impact introduced Chiori fully, fans were hooked on her. Now with leaks about her coming out about her kit and her gameplay, Genshin Impact fans have a lot to look forward to with her arrival in 4.5. Her kit has been compared favorably to Albedo and Keqing so far.
Her role so far appears to be that of a sub-DPS, hence her comparisons to Genshin Impact‘s Albedo, since he plays a similar role in his teams. She does have split-scaling, but it doesn’t seem to affect her kit too badly. Some of her abilities scale off of attack and others, like most Geo units, scale off of defense. Her kit isn’t the only thing to be leaked so far either, as her signature weapon has come out in recent leaks too.
Genshin Impact Leak Shows Chiori’s Signature Weapon
A new leak from Genshin Impact has revealed the in-game appearance of Version 4.5 five-star character Chiori’s signature weapon.
Genshin Impact’s Chiori’s Leaks Broken Down
Chiori’s Signature Weapon
Her signature weapon is a beautiful sword supposedly named Yuraku Odenkiri, which uses a Crit DMG sub-stat. The stat is nothing to scoff at either, leaked to offer about 88% at level 90. It also has an incredible passive that makes it highly valuable for her kit as well as any other support or sub-DPS Genshin sword user in a Geo team. When on the field, the buff it provides is a 16% buff to normal and charged attacks. But when off-field, the damage done by elemental skills is increased by 24%. If a teammate deals Geo damage, it will increase by 100% and increase the defense of the wielder by 20%.
Chiori’s Leaked Gameplay
From the looks of things right now, Chiori’s skill summons a puppet that deals AOE Geo DMG that has a lot of uses and appears in many parts of her kit. If, upon casting her skill, there is another Geo construct on the field (something akin to Genshin Impact‘s Zhongli’s pillar), another puppet will be summoned at that construct’s location. It has about the same range as Albedo’s skill, and with a constellation, that range can grow even larger.
Her skill appears to work in a few different ways, having multiple side effects depending on the way the player uses her. She can either swap into another character and have a puppet be summoned to work in coordination with their attacks or gain Geo infusion, similar to Genshin Impact‘s Keqing’s infusion, for five seconds after unlocking one of her passives, currently called Tailor-Made. Her puppet is also implied to have its own scaling, but the details are presently unclear. Her burst is a simple instance of AOE Geo damage following the same split-scaling as the rest of her kit with ATK and DEF.
Chiori’s Leaked Constellations
For players who are interested in pulling for more constellations for her because she’s caught their eyes, her constellations have also luckily been leaked. Her first constellation ups her elemental skills’ AOE by 50% and when her puppet attacks in coordination, it moves its damage multiplier from 100% to 220% of the puppet’s initial hit. Her second constellation allows her normal/charged/plunging attacks, after triggering Chiori’s Tailor-Made passive, it summons the puppet which will now do 300% DMG. Her third boosts her skill and her fifth boosts her burst.
Her fourth constellation allows her puppet to appear at her side every 5 seconds for 12 seconds after using her burst. Finally, her final constellation cuts her skill cooldown by 14.5 seconds after triggering the infusion effect and gains a new ability called Prismatic Beauty. The ability increases normal/charged/plunging attacks by 50% of her ATK and 180% of DEF and can be triggered every 15 seconds. For players worried about farming enough Primogems to gain these constellations, they always have the standard avenues:
