Nintendo held another Indie World showcase this morning, putting a spotlight on independent projects coming to the Switch and Switch 2, and though the presentation was short, it was packed full of cool games coming to the handheld consoles. If you weren’t able to watch the showcase live, you can check out the VOD below, but if you just want to scroll through the highlights, read on.

Witchbrook

Kicking things off is Witchbrook, a magical, town-building social sim coming to Switch and Switch 2 on January 28.

Winds of Viridia

Keeping with the fantasy theme, next up is Winds of Viridia, an action survival game in a “vast, seamless” world where you’ll fight monsters and try to survive the dangers of the wild. A demo will be available later today, with the full game coming early next year.

City of None

City of None is a new puzzle-platformer from one of the co-creators of Celeste. The game is coming to Switch and Switch 2 next year.

Sword of the Sea

The Journey-esque Sword of the Sea, which is coming out tomorrow, October 29, got a brief trailer showing its gorgeous desert levels.

Tenjutsu

Next up is Tenjutsu from Deepnight Games, led by the lead designer of Dead Cells. The rougelike brawler is inspired by classic anime aesthetics and is coming to Switch 2 next year.

Threads of Time

If you’re looking for something less action-oriented and more strategic, Threads of Time looks like a throwback to the SNES-era Final Fantasy games, and it’s coming to Switch and Switch 2 next summer.

Dumpster Gang

Next up is Dumpster Gang, in which a group of up to four players play as raccoons trying to live their chaotic lives as trash pandas while avoiding animal control. It’s coming to Switch 2 in March.

Super Battle Golf

Up to eight players can play a ridiculous, action-oriented golf match in Super Battle Golf, in which you can use tools like a rocket launcher and motorcycle instead of simply using a golf club. It’s coming to Switch 2 on March 25.

R.E.P.O.

Co-op horror game R.E.P.O. has players extracting items from procedurally generated haunted houses, and it’s coming to Switch 2 next year.

Haunted Paws

Haunted Paws is a Switch and Switch 2 co-op game in which you and a friend play as cute puppies trying to rescue someone from a haunted mansion by solving puzzles, playing mini-games, and hiding from spooky foes. A demo is out on the eShop today.

Kitsune: The Journey of Adashino

Next up is Kitsune: The Journey of Adashino, an adventure game set in a fantastical Japan coming to Switch 2 next spring.

Slime Rancher 2

For a palate cleanser after all those spooky vibes, we have Slime Rancher 2. The puzzle shooter is coming to Switch 2 in January.

Spirit Crossing

The makers of Cozy Grove are making Spirit Crossing, an MMO life sim in which you and your friends can work together to build homes and community. The game is coming to Switch and Switch 2 on November 16 as a console exclusive.

My Arms Are Longer Now

Toot Games showed off My Arms Are Longer Now, a humorous puzzler about an endlessly long arm that is kinda gross but also, in my experience playing it at Summer Game Fest this year, pretty funny. It’s coming to Switch and Switch 2 on March 11.

Petal Runner

Petal Runner is a Game Boy–inspired retro RPG about “life and loss” coming to Switch 2 on March 8, and it has a demo available today.

Raccoin: Chaos Max Edition

Raccoin: Chaos Max Edition, the new edition of the “coin pusher roguelike,” is coming to Switch 2 and supports mouse controls. It’s coming to the system on November 10. A demo is available today.
