One of Fortnite‘s newest collaborations for Chapter 7 Season 4 is coming from an unexpected source, the popular Roblox game, 99 Nights in the Forest. The new crossover between Fortnite and Roblox is expected to bring unique cosmetics and potentially more in-game content to the battle royale.
The multitude of crossover content featured in the Epic Games battle royale has become one of Fortnite‘s biggest claims to fame for many fans. The game features a wide variety of collaborations from across different forms of media, ranging from skins based on movies and TV shows to real-life musicians and athletes. Many of Fortnite‘s biggest crossovers have even made changes to the core gameplay, including new weapons, enemies added to the in-game map, and sweeping changes to the game’s many seasons. Now, Fortnite is gearing up to introduce a fan-favorite Roblox game to the battle royale in the near future.
Fortnite is Getting a 99 Nights in the Forest Crossover
A new teaser from Fortnite is officially hinting at an upcoming crossover with Roblox‘s 99 Nights in the Forest. The short video shared by prominent Fortnite community member HYPEX shows Peely fishing on a lake, interspersed with a chilling shot of The Deer approaching him. The video likely showcases a new skin based on the 99 Nights in the Forest antagonist, though no other official content from the Roblox crossover is shown within the trailer. Fortnite is expected to launch its crossover with 99 Nights in the Forest as part of the upcoming Override season, scheduled to begin on August 20.
99 Nights in the Forest has grown to become a fan-favorite game among Roblox players. The Roblox game takes inspiration from many popular modern survival horror games, tasking groups of players with building up a campsite and defending themselves from hostile enemies. Players also need to find a group of missing children scattered around the map, while improving their bases in 99 Nights in the Forest and gaining access to better weapons and items. The game has been a clear hit with Roblox fans, amassing more than 5 million likes and 28 billion visits.
99 Nights in the Forest is just one of several crossovers planned to be added to Fortnite with the launch of Chapter 7 Season 4. Epic Games has confirmed multiple major video game collaborations launching as part of the season, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Tetris and Persona 5. The new season will feature multiple changes to the map based on its featured properties, including both a new Tetris-themed POI and a POI inspired by the Sonic franchise’s iconic Green Hill Zone.
2026 has already been a huge year for Fortnite with some of the game’s biggest crossover content yet. May welcomed the shocking release of a collaboration with one of Fortnite‘s competitors, adding multiple Overwatch-themed skins to the game based on D.Va, Genji, Mercy, and Tracer. Epic Games also kicked off the year with a massive crossover event with South Park, not only introducing multiple skins based on the iconic TV show’s cast but making major changes to the in-game island to coincide with the collab.
