- Rocket Racing in Fortnite offers players a variety of car bodies to choose from, including new additions and vehicles from Rocket League.
- The car bodies in Rocket Racing have no advantage in handling or speed, so players can switch between them based on their preferences and aesthetics.
- Players can unlock different car bodies through various means, such as starting with the default Octane, purchasing exclusive bodies like Diesel and Cyclone, reaching a specific level for Scorpion, or buying the licensed Lamborghini Huracán STO.
Fortnite’s Rocket Racing offers players a range of high-powered cars to race with on the various tracks. Some of these cars are new to the game mode, while others are already available in Rocket League. The vehicles suit different playstyles and aesthetics, allowing players to choose what bodies they like and prefer.
The Rocket Racing Season Zero Kickoff features 6 car bodies in total. Note that the vehicles are all the same and perform similarly on tracks. There’s also no advantage in handling or speed, so players who switch car bodies won’t get a leg up on the track. The cars are purely cosmetic, earning players bragging rights during races. Here’s a list of all the car bodies available in Fortnite Rocket Racing.

Drifting is the most crucial aspect of Fortnite Rocket Racing. Master this mechanic and become invincible.
The OG Rocket Racing Vehicle
Octane is the default Rocket Racing vehicle players get when they start racing the tracks. It features a classic sports car body designed to look like a toy car transformed into a real one. While Octane has a generic and basic design, it performs exceptionally well on the tracks, so players shouldn’t be fooled by its appearance. Remember, all Rocket Racing sportscars perform the same, meaning players can’t go wrong with the OG Octane. This blue vehicle is free to unlock and comes with the default OEM Wheels and decals. However, players can customize the Octane to feature new wheels and a design as they rank up and progress.
An Exclusive New Car Body Available for Purchase
Fortnite Rocket Racing added Diesel as one of the 2 new car bodies players can purchase in-store for 2500 V-Bucks. This super-sports vehicle is designed to look like something straight out of a Dystopian movie. It’s sturdy and slick and has a Breakout hitbox. The vehicle can be accessed in Rocket Racing and Rocket League, so if a player purchases it on Rocket League, it transfers to Fortnite due to cross-game ownership. The Diesel car bundle comes with 6 decals players can use to customize it to suit their playstyle. Simply navigate to the Fortnite items shop, scroll to find Diesel, and buy it.
A Classic Rocket League Making a Return
OG Rocket League players are already familiar with Cyclone, which was first introduced in 2018. Cyclone is a sleek rocket-powered vehicle with gold and red highlights throughout. It’s equipped with the Breakout Hitbox, which is the longest hitbox in the Rocket League franchise. Players who own the car in Rocket League can access it in Fortnite thanks to the cross-owned system. To purchase it in Fortnite, navigate to the items shop section and buy it for 1500 V-Bucks. Like Diesel, Cyclone comes with 6 decals for customization.

This battle car is designed to resemble the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 style, which makes it a stylish car for players to show off on the tracks. It uses the Hybrid hitbox, giving it good handling on the race track. Players don’t have to rank up to unlock the Jäger 619; they can simply purchase it in-store for 1,500 V-Bucks by navigating to the Item Shop section. The Jäger 619 also comes with 6 decals for customization.
An Absolute Tank Car Body
Scorpion is one of the new 2-car bodies introduced to Fortnite Rocket Racing. It features a black car body with an orange trim at the bottom. This cool-looking vehicle looks like something that can withstand the complex tracks and mad racing in Fast & Furious. Unfortunately, players can’t purchase Scorpion directly from the Fortnite Item Shop. To unlock it, players must reach level 83 on the Battle Pass. This earns them Scorpion and 3 decals for customization. Once the player reaches level 86, they unlock 3 more decals for Scorpion. To reach level 83, play any Fortnite mode, from Rocket Racing to LEGO Fortnite, to level up.
