The Battle Pass has been part of Fortnite Battle Royale ever since it launched, and players have been able to make back the V-Bucks they spent on it since Chapter 1 Season 2. Now, players can get their in-game currency back, but the system has been slightly altered, making it harder for players to get their money’s worth.
Fortnite: Chapter 5 Season 1 Weekly Quests (Week 9)
Here is how players can complete all the weekly quests in Chapter 5 Season 1.
This guide will tell players everything they need to know about the V-Bucks included in the Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass, including how much they’ll have to grind to get them back.
How to Unlock All Battle Pass V-Bucks in Chapter 5 Season 1
The Chapter 5 Season 1 Battle Pass started on December 3, and it’ll be live until March 8, which means players have a total of three months to unlock as much of it as possible. The Battle Pass includes the first 100 levels, which is where players will find most of the juice rewards, and the following 100 levels in the Bonus Rewards tab, which includes additional cosmetics and the Super Styles.
The Battle Pass has always cost 950 V-Bucks, and gamers tend to buy it since they have always been able to get their V-Bucks back by completing it. Before, players would get a total of 1,500 V-Bucks for reaching level 100, but this changed in Chapter 5 Season 1.
Gamers can still earn 1,500 V-Bucks with the Fortnite Battle Pass, but now they must reach level 141 to be able to unlock them. Players who get to level 100 will still get their money back since they’ll receive 1,000 V-Bucks for their efforts, but in order to unlock the additional 500 V-Bucks, they’ll have to level up their Fortnite account a significant amount.
Is the Battle Pass Still Worth It?
There is no doubt that it is much harder for players to earn back the V-Bucks they initially spent on the Battle Pass in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. However, it still gives players who complete the first 100 tiers 1,000 V-Bucks, and those who go the extra mile will be able to obtain an additional 500 V-Bucks. On top of this, it gives players access to seven exclusive skins and other unique cosmetics that won’t ever be made available in the future.
If players enjoy the cosmetic items the Battle Pass includes or plan on completing most of it, it is certainly still worth 950 V-Bucks. However, fans on the fence about purchasing it should see how much of it they can unlock, and if they get past level 100, they should purchase it, as they’ll immediately earn back the V-Bucks they spent on it.
