Season 2 of the Halo TV series premieres on February 8, and if you’re a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you might be able to watch the first few episodes for free.
Game Pass Ultimate subscribers who have never had a Paramount+ subscription before can now get a 30-day free trial to the subscription service. If this sounds familiar, it’s because Microsoft offered the same deal for Season 1 in 2022.
If you fit the criteria, you can grab the free trial through the Perks tab on your Xbox console, through the Xbox app on Windows PC, or via the Game Pass mobile app on iOS and Android.
This offer is only available in the US, and as mentioned, it’s only for new subscribers to Paramount+. The offer will be available to claim until April 7, and you have until May 10 to redeem.
The first two episodes of Halo Season 2 premiere on February 8, and the remaining six will roll out each Thursday until the season wraps up on March 21. That’s not long enough to use your 30-day trial to watch the full season if you start on February 8, so you may have to subscribe to keep watching.
If you’re already a Paramount+ subscriber, or if you’ve subscribed in the past and can’t use this deal, you can get three months of Game Pass Ultimate now for $45.
Halo Season 2 brings back Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, and Schreiber has spent some of his interviews promoting Season 2 by talking about his issues with Season 1, like when Master Chief had sex.
