A new leak from Genshin Impact is teasing a special mechanic tied to upcoming character Sigewinne’s Elemental Skill, giving the character a major advantage against smaller enemies. The next update to the massively popular HoYoverse RPG is expected to bring several new additions to the game’s lineup of playable characters, with multiple new units teased. HoYoverse confirmed the long-awaited release of Clorinde and Sigewinne during Version 4.7, alongside a recently revealed four-star character in Sethos. Now, new information is coming out about a special feature of Sigewinne’s gameplay.

First introduced during the Traveler’s first visit to the Fortress of Meropide, Sigewinne serves as the head nurse for the Fontaine region’s main prison. She plays a major supporting role during the main story for Fontaine following her debut, aiding the Traveler with their investigation into the unusual events within the prison. Sigewinne’s playability in Genshin Impact has also been the subject of several rumors, suggesting she will match her in-universe role as a healer in Genshin Impact parties. Now, new leaks show off an unusual perk of Sigewinne’s Elemental Skill.

Genshin Impact Leak Teases Sigewinne Elemental Skill Special Mechanic

A recent video shared to the Genshin Impact leaks subreddit via prominent leaker Mero showcases the special mechanic featured in Sigewinne’s Elemental Skill. The video depicts Sigewinne using her Elemental Skill on a group of Slimes, with her Skill’s bubbles briefly imprisoning the enemies. The special ability is reportedly able to work on smaller enemies within Genshin Impact, though previous leaks have shown the imprisoning effect to not work on Hilichurls. Sigewinne is expected to release as a five-star character during Version 4.7, currently speculated to release on June 5.

Sigewinne’s unique Elemental Skill looks to complement her playstyle as a support character within Genshin Impact‘s lineup. Previous leaks have detailed Sigewinne’s kit, with her Elemental Burst dealing heavy AoE Hydro damage and her gameplay largely revolving around off-field utility. Sigewinne will also utilize several unique mechanics first introduced within Fontaine’s lineup, including the Sourcewater Droplets also used by Neuvillette and the “Bond of Life” mechanic. Sigewinne’s Bond of Life will grant her additional energy points, allowing her to use her Elemental Burst more often.

Sigewinne’s unique usage of Bond of Life comes following the release of another character heavily utilizing the unique Fontaine gimmick. The debut of Arlecchino in Version 4.6 makes heavy use of Bond of Life within her gameplay, with Arlecchino gaining bonus damage and Pyro infusion on her Normal Attacks. Bond of Life is also used by the Fontaine region’s craftable weapons, granting bonuses to the player’s ATK and elemental damage. Sigewinne looks to further utilize one of Fontaine’s most unusual mechanics when she launches in Version 4.7.
