A new leak from Genshin Impact is teasing a major change coming to the rotation schedule for the Spiral Abyss, with the endgame dungeon now only changing once a month. The massively popular RPG from developer HoYoverse offers players a wide array of things to do within its sprawling open world. Each of the game’s regions has multiple quests to tackle, hidden chests and collectibles to uncover, and even offers alternative experiences like Genius Invokation TCG and the Serenitea Pot. However, Genshin Impact‘s endgame has often been a point of criticism.

The Spiral Abyss serves as Genshin Impact‘s main form of endgame content, featuring twelve floors of increasingly difficult challenges for players to test their battle prowess. The top four floors of the Spiral Abyss feature regular rotations, bringing in new enemies and unique buffs with each update to the game. Recent leaks have also suggested Genshin Impact will be upgrading the rewards for the dungeon as well, with each cycle now offering up to 800 Primogems, up from the previous 600. Now, however, it looks like a schedule change is coming with the revamped rewards.

Genshin Impact Adjusting Spiral Abyss Schedule

A new leak from Genshin Impact leaker Chalice Leaks reveals the schedule shift coming for Genshin Impact‘s endgame dungeon. According to the post, the Spiral Abyss will now only rotate its upper floor lineup once per month, following the changes coming to the game mode within Genshin Impact‘s next update. The change will notably mark a decrease in the total gems available from farming the dungeon, with the increased 800 Primogems reward now only coming once per month. The Spiral Abyss changes are set to launch in Version 4.7, expected to release on June 5.

The rumored changes to the Spiral Abyss’ rotation come as leaks have suggested Genshin Impact‘s endgame content may be a focus in Version 4.7. Recent leaks have teased that HoYoverse is intending to introduce a new variant of Genshin Impact‘s Spiral Abyss in Version 4.7, offering different challenges from the original game mode. The game mode is expected to feature eight floors to tackle, with a total of 600 Primogems available for completion. The new mode is also expected to feature a similar rotation schedule to the current Spiral Abyss.

The plethora of changes to Genshin Impact‘s primary endgame content will launch in an update expected to be jam-packed with content. Genshin Impact‘s Version 4.7 will welcome three new characters to the roster, with both Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos recently confirmed by HoYoverse. Leaks have also suggested the update will welcome a new chapter of the game’s Archon Quest, potentially featuring the return of popular supporting character Dainsleif. Version 4.7 looks to have plenty on the table for all fans of Genshin Impact.
