Genshin Impact has officially revealed the full lineup for the first phase of Version 6.5, as Aino, Noelle, and Illuga will join Linnea and Chasca on the Event Banners. While the 5-Stars were known since the beta for Version 6.5 began, Genshin Impact players often have to wait until the debut of a patch to know which 4-Stars will feature on the banner. Arguably, as powerful as Linnea may be, and as versatile as Chasca may be, the real gem of their Event Banners may lie in the accompanying 4-Stars.
While 4-Stars in the Natlan era were powerful additions to the cast, with notable standouts such as Ororon and Iansan, players have been less keen on Nod-Krai’s approach when it came to its regional gimmick. Unlike Nightsoul, only 5-Star Nod-Krai characters can trigger Lunar Reactions, effectively making Aino, Jahoda, and Illuga less valuable by comparison. They are meant to be auxiliary units in Nod-Krai teams, often paired with hypercarries such as Flins or Zibai in Genshin Impact. However, even in these scenarios, they are often considered sidegrades to classic 4-Stars such as Sucrose.
Rumor: Genshin Impact To Introduce More Character Buffs in Version 6.6
A trustworthy source in the Genshin Impact community strongly points to a new wave of gameplay buffs coming to certain Mondstadt characters.

That being said, Aino and Illuga contribute considerably within their niche, and both 4-Star characters will feature on the Event Banners for the first half of Version 6.5. They will be joined by Noelle, one of the oldest Genshin Impact characters, and one who has aged well throughout the game’s ever-shifting meta. For players who are looking to make a Lunar Reaction team in Genshin Impact, Version 6.5 will be a delight. The first half explicitly focuses on Lunar-Crystallize, with Linnea herself being the star – a Geo Bow that not only enhances Lunar-Crystallize damage, but also shreds Geo resistance, provides group healing, and does noteworthy off-field damage. Conversely, the second half of the update is expected to focus on Lunar-Bloom, with both Lauma and Nefer carrying the banners.

With Version 6.6 set to expand the Hexerei roster once more, and Version 6.7 rumored to introduce an early look into Snezhnaya’s regional gimmick, Version 6.5 will effectively be the last major addition to Nod-Krai’s Lunar Reactions. However, as a counterpoint to Linnea, Version 6.5 will also introduce a very important map expansion to Genshin Impact. In Version 6.5, players will finally be able to explore Dornman Port, the long-awaited northern half of Mondstadt, as well as the Temple of Space above it. The Temple of Space is notable for being the zone featured on the Genshin Impact login screen, now made available in Version 6.5.
Two new zones mean a lot of Primogems in Genshin Impact, as even free-to-play accounts will be able to obtain 77 Intertwined Wishes over the course of the update. Whether players choose to spend them on the Event Banners in Version 6.5, or save them up for Nicole, Lohen, Prune, and Sandrone, the upcoming patch will give them a much-needed opportunity to restore their funds. Version 6.5 is expected to come out on April 8, 2026, and will last until May 20, 2026.
