Hearthstone has officially revealed the Rewards Track for its upcoming Cataclysm expansion, which includes free cards, Gold, Packs, Hero Skins, and more. This updated Rewards Track will become available when the new Hearthstone expansion goes live.

2026 will be a big year for Blizzard’s Warcraft card game, with the iconic Cataclysm expansion from WoW coming to Hearthstone with some surprising twists. A version of Deathwing where he ushered in the Hour of Twilight has arrived from another timeline, seeking to spread destruction with his Colossal minions in the Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, and Warrior classes. Outnumbered and outmatched, the Dragon Aspects in the Mage, Priest, Druid, Hunter, and Paladin classes must band together to stop the Destroyer from laying waste to Azeroth.

BlizzCon 2026 Should Be Blizzard’s Biggest Event Ever: Here’s What to Expect

After a two-year break, BlizzCon 2026 needs to be one of the biggest conventions Blizzard has ever put together, setting the stage for the future.

Much of the Rewards Track in Hearthstone can be obtained without additional purchases. These freebies include 14 Golden cards, a random Epic card, and a plethora of tavern tickets, Gold, and Packs. Three free Legendary cards can be obtained as well, including Genn, Cursed King, and two random Legendaries, one of which is guaranteed to be a Hearthstone Colossal minion from Cataclysm. Additional Packs, the Archmage Kalec Diamond Legendary, and several Hearthstone Signature cards, including the Arisen Onyxia Legendary, await fans on this Battle Pass. What Else to Expect in Hearthstone: Cataclysm

The Cataclysm expansion arrives in Hearthstone on March 17, along with a refresh of the Core Set for the Year of the Scarab. However, fans won’t have to wait until then to get in on the fun; the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl begins March 10, allowing players to crack open their Cataclysm Packs and build decks in a special game mode to earn exclusive rewards. What’s more, from then until the launch of the next expansion in July, all fans will have free access to every Hearthstone card from Into the Emerald Dream and The Lost City of Un’Goro.

A couple of in-game events are also planned for this expansion. Cataclysm’s launch event from March 17 through April 7 offers 14 free Packs, two of which are Golden, plus the Dragonscarred Thrall Hero Skin. Then, from April 7–14, players can earn another Pack, plus random Common, Rare, and Epic cards.

There are more free Packs up for grabs via various promotions as well. Watching a total of 16 hours of Hearthstone on Twitch for the Cataclysm Community Days event from March 10–14 earns eight free Packs. Then, starting March 24, fans can claim a free Pack once a week for three weeks, including a Golden Cataclysm Pack to kick things off. With tons of overpowered Hearthstone cards available for free, now is a great time to play, whether players are seasoned veterans or just getting started.
