Honkai: Star Rail has recently announced a new time-limited event that gives away triple Cavern Relic rewards. Events in Honkai: Star Rail occur every month, allowing players to farm relics and upgrade materials. Some festivities take place in a separate dimension and set Trailblazers against enemies, while others usually involve exploration and character dialogue. Completing events is a common activity for many players, like re-fighting bosses and collecting treasure chests in newly released locations.

Honkai: Star Rail is promoting a roster of characters, including Aventurine, Lynx, Luka, and Serval, each aligned to a different path and element. These playable units are available on the Gilded Imprisonment event banner, which will be removed from the game on May 7. Aside from Aventurine and reruns, Honkai: Star Rail is now offering Jingliu, the five-star Ice unit that hails from the path of Destruction.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Hints at Harder Endgame Content

A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak suggests one of the game’s permanent modes could be harder to complete due to balance changes.

The newest Honkai: Star Rail event, Realm of the Strange, allows players to get triple Cavern Relic rewards when they finish the game’s Cavern of Corrosion mode. As revealed by the developers, this event will be available between April 26 and May 3. Players will need to unlock the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Drifting by completing “The Stars are Cold Toys” quest to partake in Realm of the Strange.

Honkai: Star Rail‘s Cavern of Corrosion is a repeatable challenge players can complete to farm Cavern Relics, which are fundamental parts of character loadouts. It is divided into six paths, each providing different buffs that help players complete stages more easily. One thing to note is that Trailblazers must reach a certain rank to unlock this combat challenge.

How Do Honkai: Star Rail’s Relics Work

Cavern of Corrosion gives players relic sets as completion rewards, allowing them to improve their character loadouts. Each relic set in Honkai: Star Rail has its own effect that contributes to character progression. For instance, Prisoner in Deep Confinement increases ATK by at least 12%, while Longevous Disciple boosts max HP. These items provide better stats when players enhance them by consuming lower-tier relics in their inventory.

Speaking of relic sets, Honkai: Star Rail will allegedly add two of them in the version 2.2 update, each having its own passive effect. According to leaked descriptions, one increases characters’ CRIT damage, while the other boosts their overall damage when they use an ultimate. It’s being speculated that these relic sets are designed for Honkai: Star Rail‘s Robin and Boothill, a pair of Penacony-based units that will appear in version 2.2 next month.
