Honkai: Star Rail has recently confirmed that Firefly will join the playable cast as a five-star Fire character in version 2.3. With the addition of Gallagher, there are a total of seven Fire-type units in Honkai: Star Rail, each having their own unique skills. Their kits rely on the Burn debuff, which deals damage as long as it persists. They fit into the role of DPS or sub-DPS depending on their skills, path, and damage output.

Lately, many details regarding Honkai: Star Rail version 2.3 have arisen through leaks. It was rumored that Sunday, Robin’s elder sibling, would make his introduction in the next version. Some leaks have also indicated that update 2.3 will add a number of relic sets and Light Cones. All the new content will reportedly be available in early June when Honkai: Star Rail‘s update 2.2 will officially be concluded.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Hints at Harder Endgame Content

A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak suggests one of the game’s permanent modes could be harder to complete due to balance changes.

HoYoverse has revealed the official drip marketing campaign for Honkai: Star Rail‘s Firefly, confirming that the character has a five-star rarity and hails from the path of Destruction. She is a Fire-type unit whose kit relies on the Burn debuff. Like many other characters in the game, she boasts an elegant design and wears a colorful flurry dress. Honkai: Star Rail players can expect her to be available in the first phase of version 2.3.

What To Expect From Honkai: Star Rail’s Firefly

Firefly’s drip marketing campaign doesn’t provide details about her skill set; however, some leaks suggest she has a special combat state that grants her invulnerability. She is reportedly capable of dealing massive damage like other five-star Fire units in Honkai: Star Rail. The character’s kit should be fully revealed in the weeks ahead.

Aside from Firefly and the four-star rerun characters, Honkai: Star Rail version 2.3 will add an all-new mode called Apocalyptic Shadow. In this endgame challenge, players will have to defeat some previously encountered enemies to earn points. As revealed by the developers, it will diversify Honkai: Star Rail‘s endgame and offer Trailblazers a unique combat experience. Like other modes within the space RPG, Apocalyptic Shadow will give away Stellar Jades and ascension materials.

As confirmed by HoYoverse, version 2.3 will overhaul Honkai: Star Rail‘s Simulated Universe by adding a brand-new domain, Divergent Universe, which has more varied combinations of Curios and Blessings. This domain will provide players with rewards like Stellar Jades and upgrade items. Besides, Divergent Universe will feature two functions, Restart Challenge and Quick-Claim for Planar Ornaments, that will improve the player experience.
