Honkai: Star Rail Leak Teases Robin’s Kit
New leaks from Honkai: Star Rail are teasing upcoming character Robin’s gameplay, rumored to be releasing during a future update.
A new update from prominent Honkai: Star Rail leaker Dimbreath has given players their first look at the kit for unrevealed Honkai: Star Rail character Jade. Jade is believed to be joining Star Rail‘s roster as a Quantum character, with their Skill draining their allies’ HP while also increasing their allies’ Speed. Jade’s passive grants a follow-up attack after their team attacks enemies a certain number of times, with their Ultimate dealing AoE damage to all enemies and buffing the follow-up attack. Jade has yet to be officially revealed within Honkai; Star Rail and has no confirmed release date.
Jade’s HP-draining mechanics with their Skill is far from the first time HoYoverse has experimented with characters sapping their allies’ health. Version 1.1 five-star character Blade introduced the draining mechanic to Honkai: Star Rail, with each of the Stellaron Hunter’s abilities reducing his own HP to empower his attacks. Popular DPS character Jingliu also boasts a similar gameplay style, with her “Spectral Transmigration” form’s enhanced attacks draining her allies’ HP. Jade’s role as an HP-draining support looks to mesh well with characters that benefit from reduced HP.
Jade’s gameplay leaks join several other characters from Penacony to see their kits teased ahead of the world’s launch. Each of Version 2.0’s five-star characters have seen their abilities revealed early, showcasing Black Swan’s powerful DPS-oriented abilities and Sparkle’s unique status as a Skill-buffing support. Several other roster members have also seen their gameplay teased ahead of their official release window, including Robin and Boothill among others. With Penacony’s release on the horizon, Honkai: Star Rail players have plenty of options to look forward to from the wide array of upcoming characters.
