A new Honkai: Star Rail leak has revealed the complete kit for the upcoming five-star Fire Destruction character, Firefly. She has already been confirmed to arrive in the upcoming Version 2.3 which, going by HoYoverse’s usual update schedule, should drop around mid-June.

Firefly won’t be the only new roster addition in Honkai: Star Rail update 2.3, as the game’s official social media accounts also confirmed the arrival of the mysterious Jade. The two will probably be the only new characters in the upcoming update, as HoYoverse has not introduced a new four-star character so far.

Due to genetic modification, Firefly was affected by Entropy Loss Syndrome, which causes her body to slow down progressively. One of the most intriguing parts about Firefly is that she was revealed to be the person inside the armor of Sam, a powerful yet mysterious member of the Sellaron Hunters. Even though Firefly won’t join the roster for at least 5–6 weeks, a credible X user named Razor_Language has arelady revealed more information about Firefly’s kit.

Honkai: Star Rail Leaks Firefly Kit

  • Basic Attack – Standard single-target attack
  • Enhanced Attack – Restores 20% HP and deals single-target damage
  • Skill – Firefly consumes 50% of her max HP to recover 50% max energy. She deals Fire damage to 1 enemy, scaling with her ATK stat.
  • Enhanced Skill – Firefly restores 35% HP and applies Fire weakness to one enemy for 2 turns. Enemies that already have Fire weakness cannot be affected by this debuff.
  • Ultimate – Firefly enters a buffed state that enhances her Basic Attack and Skill effects. It also increases damage dealt to weakness-broken enemies and increases weakness-break efficiency by 50%. Firefly’s Speed increases while in this state, which could impact the damage potential of this new Honkai: Star Rail DPS character.

Firefly’s Antilag Outburst Trace allows her to reduce enemies’ weakness while in her Ultimate state, regardless of their element. Her Autoreactive Armor trace allows Firefly to increase her Break Effect by 6% (up to 60%) for every 100 ATK points that exceed 2400 ATK. If Firefly’s Break Effect is 250/360% or higher, her Core Overload Trace will make her additionally ignore 30/40% of the target’s DEF.

The fact that Firefly is a Destruction character means that she will most likely be used in the main DPS role for most team compositions in the game. Honkai: Star Rail‘s Destruction characters usually have high single-target and AoE damage while also being able to sustain significant amounts of damage.
