Fortnite launched the Arenas Boxfights game mode on April 9, creating an official version of a popular Creative map-type. In this mode, players can put their building and close-combat skills to the test as they go head-to-head with random opponents or even friends.

How to Buy XP in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 allows players to now purchase a limited amount of XP a day, but it’s not with real currency or V-Bucks. Here’s how.

Since Arenas Boxfights is a game mode created by Epic Games, there is now a way for players to easily challenge their friends to an epic boxfight battle. This guide tells players how they can challenge their friends to a 1v1 in Fortnite.

How to Challenge a Player to a 1v1 in Fortnite

To challenge another player to a 1v1 boxfight in Fortnite, players have to first befriend, then look them up on their friends list, select them, and pick the “1v1 Me” interaction.

The player can either accept the 1v1 challenge or ignore it. If they accept it, the two players will automatically be placed in the same party with the Arenas Boxfights mode. It will be set to Duel, so once both players mark themselves as ready, they will be taken to a private Arenas Boxfights match where they will come face-to-face.

How Duels Work in Fortnite Arenas Boxfights

When players enter a private duel in Arenas Boxfights, they will only be able to fight the same opponent. Besides this, it will be same as any other Arenas Boxfights match – build is enable and the room randomizes every round.

The match will last until one of the players wins a total of seven rounds. Players start with random weapons and must make the most of them in order to eliminate their opponent.
