On June 21, a former Twitch staffer claimed on social media that Dr Disrespect was banned because he “got caught sexting a minor.” Dr Disrespect initially denied any wrongdoing in a promptly issued response but later admitted that his Twitch ban was due to him messaging “an individual minor” in inappropriate ways. Since this revelation, the streamer has faced significant criticism from fellow streamers like TimTheTatman and Nickmercs, who have expressed their disappointment in Dr Disrespect’s behavior.

Midnight Society has officially cut all ties with the content creator, and the San Francisco 49ers have also decided to sever its association with him. Additionally, it is reported that NBA 2K24 is set to remove its Dr Disrespect content in the coming days.
