The superb Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered is on sale for its lowest price yet in physical format on PS5 and Nintendo Switch. The standard edition is discounted to only $20 (was $30) at Amazon and Best Buy, but big fans of the series should check out the Deluxe Edition while it’s still in stock for $35 (was $50) at Amazon for Nintendo Switch and PS5. The remastered collection of the PS1/PS2 action-adventure games is just one of numerous awesome game deals Amazon has ahead of the official start of its Black Friday 2025 sale on November 20.

The Deluxe Edition is packaged in an oversized box containing numerous extras that will appeal to longtime fans of the series. The highlight is the beautiful steelbook case, but you’ll also get a softcover art book and the official soundtrack on CD. You’ll still get the standard edition case in addition to the steelbook.

The $20 (was $30) standard edition comes with the remastered games on disc or cartridge and a regular plastic case.
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver originally released in 1999 on PS1, and the sequel arrived early in the PS2’s lifecycle in 2001. Set in The Land of Nosgoth, Soul Reaver follows vampire-turned-wraith Raziel on his quest for vengeance against his creator–and protagonist of the first Legacy of Kain game, Blood Omen–the vampire Lord Kain.
The remasters include a toggle to swap between the original or updated visuals on the fly, plus a few tweaks to the gameplay. However, the core gameplay, story, and voice acting remain untouched. Along with the games, the collection also includes archival behind-the-scenes content and other bonus materials.

Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered launched first on digital in December 2024. Following a delay, Aspyr published the standard and Deluxe physical editions on July 11, 2025.
