A LEGO creator took to social media to share their recent attempt at building a custom MOC minifigure of the Dragonborn from Skyrim. Given that LEGO has no official products based on The Elder Scrolls series, builders must get creative when creating new figures of their favorite characters.

In LEGO terminology, MOC stands for My Own Creation. This abbreviation refers to a LEGO creation that does not follow any specific pre-made blueprint or official instruction set. Instead, LEGO builders use whatever parts and bricks they have to build anything that may not have an official LEGO kit, such as a character, vehicle, or a building. For example, a fan of Bethesda’s Fallout franchise crafted a custom LEGO figure depicting Fallout 3‘s T-45 Power Armor suit, including a left hand that allows for articulation and different poses.

LEGO Fan Shares Impressive Dragonborn MOC Figure

Although the Dragonborn is the latest in a line of powerful protagonists, one LEGO fan chose the Dragonborn’s most-known appearance for their latest creation. On the LEGO subreddit, a Redditor named IsThisDamnNameTaken shared an image of their MOC minifigure depicting Skyrim‘s Dragonborn as he appears in trailers and promotional materials for the game. In these materials, the Last Dragonborn of Skyrim is depicted as a male Nord with light brown hair and some facial stubble. Just like in Skyrim‘s various trailers and advertisements, the Last Dragonborn in the OP’s minifigure wears Studded Armor and a horned Iron Helmet while wielding a sword and shield. The sword was placed in the Dragonborn MOC’s left hand with the shield in the right hand. The LEGO MOC also had gritted teeth on its face as a way to depict the Dragonborn’s serious disposition.

While the frozen tundra of Skyrim is the home region of Tamriel’s Nord race, the Last Dragonborn of The Elder Scrolls‘ fifth entry can be any of the franchise’s ten playable races, such as an Imperial, an Argonian, or a High Elf. While their appearance comes with some minor perks, the Last Dragonborn’s unique trait is their ability to use Dragon Shouts to turn the tide of a battle. Also known by the title of “Dovahkiin” in the Dragon language, the Dragonborn can absorb the souls of dragons and use them to learn Words of Power that fuel their Dragon Shouts.

The new MOC came amid a busy time for the LEGO brand. Several upcoming LEGO sets based on popular IPs, including Harry Potter, Star Trek, and Pokemon will be released throughout 2026. However, The Elder Scrolls has yet to receive an official LEGO set as of this writing. This is likely due to the violent nature of Bethesda’s RPG franchise, leaving fans to create MOC builds instead.

As for The Elder Scrolls series itself, Bethesda is currently developing The Elder Scrolls 6, which has no release date or subtitle as of this writing. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma recently got a look at The Elder Scrolls 6 and offered her praise for the project on social media. Given the enduring popularity of Skyrim, it remains to be seen how TES6 will fare comparatively.
