A master LEGO builder turns the iconic 75375 Millennium Falcon set into a custom Megatron bust build with no additional pieces. LEGO and Transformers have collaborated on some exclusive sets, such as small-scale ones for Bumblebee and Megatron, or larger ones with full-fledged transformations dedicated to Optimus Prime and Soundwave. Still, there is a lot of untapped potential in this collaboration, and it doesn’t necessarily have to do with the transformation gimmick.

The new LEGO Smart Play sets for August 1 show that this could be a new venue for official Transformers sets, as they could reproduce the sounds of each vehicle or the respective Transformer’s voice. This remains to be seen, and for the time being, there are no additional Transformers sets among the leaks for LEGO’s releases this year. What LEGO 2027 will look like is too early to say, but there could be returning collaborations, including the one with Transformers. For now, though, fans quite literally transform the beloved 75375 Millennium Falcon set into Megatron with custom instructions.

LEGO Fan Transforms Millennium Falcon Set Into Warhammer 40K Battleship With No Extra Pieces

An expert LEGO builder manages to transform the iconic 75375 Millennium Falcon set into a Warhammer 40,000 Imperial Battleship without extra bricks.

Custom LEGO Megatron Bust Build From Millennium Falcon Set

Renowned LEGO fan and master builder Minute_Food_2881 shared a post on Reddit to showcase their latest custom build, which is a bust of Megatron in its normal form, made entirely from the 75375 Millennium Falcon set with no extra pieces. This is one of the gimmicks of Minute_Food_2881’s builds, which always utilize what’s in the box with no need for additional bricks. A great example is how they turned the LEGO Millennium Falcon set into an AT-M6 Walker without extra pieces, and it’s the exact same Millennium Falcon set used in their latest build.

Minute_Food_2881 goes by CreationCaravan on Rebrickable, where they typically share the instructions for their custom builds for a small fee. In this case, fans who want to recreate the LEGO Megatron bust build from the Millennium Falcon can use the instructions for a fee of $8. Here, fans can also find instructions for other custom builds shared by Minute_Food_2881, such as the one where they transformed LEGO’s Millennium Falcon set into Star Trek‘s USS Defiant ship from the Deep Space Nine series. In this case, the build is also mobile, in the sense that Megatron’s head can be turned left and right.

The community has been sharing their MOC projects (My Own Creations) with fellow fans for a long time, and some have been turned into actual sets under the LEGO Ideas brand. Custom builds made from existing sets are very popular among fans, with a fan recently sharing an alternate build for LEGO’s Playful Puppy set with free instructions that turns the 3-in-1 Creator set into a couple of cute capybaras, including one bathing in a small pool.

Among Minute_Food_2881’s fun builds is one dedicated to E.T. from the Pokemon Eevee set, and now, just a month or so later, a first look at E.T.‘s LEGO set was shared. Whether it’s new Transformers sets or not, there are a lot of new LEGO sets coming this year, and presumably in 2027 as well, and more will likely be revealed or leaked in the coming weeks ahead of August 1.
