A fan of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is recreating the entire cast of HoYoverse RPG Zenless Zone Zero within the life simulation game. The dedicated Tomodachi Life player has already completed more than 20 different members of the urban action RPG’s roster.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream‘s Mii creation systems feature some huge upgrades from the original game on the Nintendo 3DS. Living the Dream has vastly increased the number of options players have when building their Miis, with new hairstyles, eye shapes and details, and more. The drawing system even takes the sequel’s customization a step further, allowing players to fully draw bangs, accessories, and more on their Tomodachi Life characters. Now, one Tomodachi Life fan is using the game’s wealth of creative liberties to re-imagine the entire cast of Zenless Zone Zero.

Zenless Zone Zero Cast Remade in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream

A Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream player, toro_harakami, showed off their stunning Zenless Zone Zero characters on X. The impressive collection features more than 20 characters from the urban action RPG, including both Belle and Wise, Astra Yao, Miyabi, and many more. Each character has seen some parts of their design made using Living the Dream‘s drawing system, creating accessories like Harumasa’s headband, Miyabi’s ears, and Billy’s face mask. The collection of Zenless Zone Zero characters even includes some non-playable members of the game’s supporting cast, showing Tomodachi Life versions of Ye Shiyuan and Damian.

The creation of the set of Zenless Zone Zero characters has been chronicled through numerous posts on toro_harakami’s account. Previous posts reveal that they also created an in-game pet based on Zenless Zone Zero, with Belle shown to have Eous as a pet in Tomodachi Life. The Tomodachi Life player’s collection of screenshots also includes multiple interactions between Lycaon and Hugo, with the two even entering into a romantic relationship during their playthrough.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream‘s character creation has served as one of the most popular aspects of the game for many fans. Players have often looked to re-imagine characters from popular games and TV shows within Living the Dream, including Breaking Bad, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Some have even pushed the boundaries of the creation engine in the game, including one player creating every starter Pokemon in Tomodachi Life without ever utilizing the game’s face paint system. Many third-party websites have also popped up for players to share their Tomodachi Life designs with others.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is one of many major life simulations to hit the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 throughout recent months. Pokemon Pokopia took the gaming world by storm following its debut in early March, quickly becoming not only one of the best-selling Switch 2 games but the highest rated Pokemon game of all time. Fan-favorite life simulation Animal Crossing: New Horizons also received a Switch 2 Edition upgrade in January 2026, adding mouse control support, larger multiplayer sessions, and tying in with the game’s 3.0 update. Living the Dream fits in nicely among its peers as a quirky, humorous life simulation experience.
