Mario Kart Racing Wheel For Switch & Switch 2 Is On Sale For Black Friday

Hori’s officially licensed Mario Kart Pro Deluxe Racing Wheel is on sale for $91 (was $110) in Amazon’s Black Friday sale. Notably, this wired racing wheel and pedals set is fully compatible with Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. It works great with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch, Mario Kart World on Switch 2, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, and more than two dozen other games on Switch 1/2. It’s also compatible with all PC racing games that support XInput.

Hori also makes a smaller model for younger players called the Pro Mini. This one doesn’t have an official Black Friday discount, but it’s on sale for $62.68 (was $70) and comes with pedals, too. Both Hori Racing Wheels have Mario Kart-themed designs with Mario’s signature M logo emblazoned on the center of the wheel.

The full list of officially supported games can be found on Amazon’s store pages for both wheels. Other notable titles include Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, Lego 2K Drive, Hot Wheels Unleashed 1 and 2, Team Sonic Racing, Crash Team Racing, Chocobo Grand Prix, Paw Patrol Grand Prix, Monster Jam Showdown, and Cars 3.

Both wheels connect to via USB to the Switch and Switch 2 docks. Take a closer look at the Pro Deluxe and Pro Mini below. It’s also worth noting Hori is releasing three officially licensed Mario, Yoshi, and Peach Joy-Con 2 wheel attachments on December 5. The colorful attachments have built-in triggers compatibility with Joy-Con 2 and original Joy-Con. You can preorder the Mario Kart World Wheel Attachments at Amazon for $15 each, which makes them slightly more expensive per wheel than Nintendo’s $25 Joy-Con 2 Wheel 2-Pack.

The Pro Deluxe model is a full-sized steering wheel with a dark red and black color scheme. It has textured grips, a sturdy base, a pair of pedals, and conveniently placed inputs located in the general area where your hands naturally rest. The ZR and ZL triggers are on the rounded part of the wheel, while the face buttons, D-pad, and various menu inputs run across the middle.

Beyond the larger size and more premium feel, the biggest additional perk is the inclusion of removable paddles. The paddles, along with the ZR and ZL trigger placement, allow you to play Mario Kart and other racing games without needing to alter your hand position to press buttons.

The Pro Mini’s color scheme is based on the shades of red and blue found on Mario’s iconic outfit. Like the larger Pro Deluxe, it has a Mario logo in the center and various buttons around it, including a D-pad, four face buttons, and menu buttons. The four triggers/bumpers are also located in the center as yellow buttons. The Pro Mini doesn’t have the textured wheel cover or detachable paddles found on the pricier option, but you’ll still get a pair of peddles for accelerating and braking.

If you’re planning on getting a Nintendo Switch 2 this holiday, you probably shouldn’t wait until the last minute if you want the Mario Kart World bundle. When the bundle was revealed, Nintendo stated it would only be available until Fall 2025, so it’s possible it will sell out before the holidays. The Switch 2 Mario Kart Bundle is in stock at Amazon for $499; it comes with a digital copy of Mario Kart World ($80 value) and saves you $30 compared to buying the game and console ($450) separately.

Nintendo’s official Black Friday 2025 sale is live now at major retailers. Check out GameSpot’s roundup covering all of the first-party Switch game and Amiibo deals. We also created a list of over 150 Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 game deals at Amazon and other major retailers.
