Minecraft: Bedrock Edition update 26.60 is now available, having officially rolled out on October 27. Apart from hundreds of fixes, the latest version of the hit sandbox game gives Minecraft players experimental access to several features planned to debut before the end of 2026.

Mojang first showed the frozen theme for its fourth Minecraft “drop” of 2026 on September 26, before moving the initial batch of features into Bedrock Preview 26.60.29 four days later. That test build introduced Ice Caves and several connected mechanics, establishing all of them as upcoming content rather than features that were necessarily going to make their full debut with version 26.60.

Minecraft Bedrock 26.60 Includes More Than 600 Fixes

Bedrock 26.60’s full patch notes detail more than 600 bug fixes, including 89 addressing community-reported issues. The update also adds Ice Caves, Frostbites, Ice Crystals, icicles, the Freezing effect, and Ice Balls to Minecraft‘s experimental Game Drops features, making them available for testing ahead of their standard gameplay debut.
