Minecraft Player Builds Redstone Millennium Falcon From Star Wars

One Minecraft player has showcased their redstone engineering skills by creating a functional Millennium Falcon from Star Wars. The Minecraft community often shares unique builds, but this redstone creation has caught the attention of many gamers online thanks to its attention to detail and features.

One of the appeals of Minecraft is the multitude of things players can do in the game. Some enjoy simply surviving in the Overworld, but others go much deeper than that. One of the ways players can get more advanced is by using redstone, which can often be found while mining in Minecraft. This resource can be used to power different contraptions in the game to make life easier. However, others have utilized redstone to create stunning builds to show off to fans online.

Minecraft Player Is Creating a Massive Halo-Inspired World, And It Looks Incredible

Showing off their love for Halo, one Minecraft player is creating a map that looks like one of the rings from the iconic franchise.

Minecraft Player’s Redstone Millennium Falcon

One of these recent creations was made by MythicalPingu, sharing a YouTube video of their redstone Millennium Falcon. As seen in the video, the Minecraft player managed to recreate a version of the iconic Star Wars starship powered by redstone. Impressively, the build included a full interior and had a functioning cannon mounted on top. It is worth noting that MythicalPingu created this redstone creation for YouTuber Lancer, who made a video of them creating the redstone starship in Hardcore.

MythicalPingu detailed some of the challenges of constructing the blocky version of the Millennium Falcon. Specifically, they noted that the scale needed to be 2:1 to fix some clipping issues with the ceiling and add more space in the rooms to accommodate the redstone. Additionally, they detailed the process of getting the cannon to work in the build. According to MythicalPingu, this required using fireballs from a Ghast in Minecraft. However, they ran into the challenge of hiding the mob so that it could not be seen from above the build. Fortunately, they came up with a solution that worked, allowing fireballs to be fired from the Millennium Falcon convincingly.

The reception to this build on the internet has been overwhelmingly positive. So far, many Minecraft fans have applauded the design in the comments of the YouTube video. In particular, gamers praised how the build blended form and function. Furthermore, the fireball cannon was a highlight for many fans.

While this redstone build is doubtlessly noteworthy, it is far from the only impressive build being shared with the community. For example, another gamer recently built an incredible recreation of Hawkins National Laboratory in Minecraft. The incredible Stranger Things-inspired build included a detailed interior, along with an impressive exterior.

Minecraft Has Already Teased Its Next Game Drop

As players continue to share neat projects made in the game, Mojang recently shared a look at some of the content coming in the first game drop of 2026. Specifically, the developer revealed that new designs for baby farm mobs are coming to Minecraft. Additionally, players will now be able to craft name tags in the game, making it easier to keep track of pets. While a release date for the new update has yet to be revealed, the developer has made these features available for testing in Java snapshot and Bedrock beta/preview.

It will be interesting to see what other new content will be revealed ahead of the release of the game drop. Perhaps there will be new Minecraft blocks added to help builders create even more impressive things in the game. Ultimately, players will have to wait and see what Mojang has in store for the game in the coming weeks.
