A Minecraft player has created a realistic pine forest using blocks available in the base game. Minecraft has a variety of biomes to explore, and this gamer has made a unique design for a pine forest that shines light on a missing location.

Since Minecraft was released, Mojang has made many adjustments to the biomes and has added new ones like Dripstone and Lush caves, the Lofty Peaks, and the Grove. There are also biomes that Mojang has teased updates for like the Birch Forest and Badlands, but these adjustments haven’t been made yet. Many blocks have also been added to Minecraft through regular updates, with the latest examples including Chiseled Tuff Bricks, Copper Grates and Bulbs, and the Vault. One gamer has an idea of adding a pine forest to the game, with a focus on texturing and creative use of certain items.

Minecraft Fan Has Great Idea to Make One Block Much Better

A Minecraft player makes a great suggestion for improving one of the blocks in the game and shares their inventive idea with the community.

Reddit user KB_Craft_Creations recently shared six images of their idea for a Minecraft pine forest. These screenshots highlight their pine forest from various angles, including multiple aerial views, and two that show the finer details within the biome. To make the trees look more realistic, the gamer has used Tuff, Dripstone, and different types of wood to accent their appearance. Other Minecraft items used in this pine forest include wooden Buttons, Fences, and Slabs. Standard trees are composed of one type of wood, with each tree having its own unique aesthetic, but players often make their own versions. This take on pine trees appears more accurate to their real-life counterparts rather than the existing in-game version.

How Was This Minecraft Pine Forest Made?

Although the Minecraft blocks used to make this pine forest are available in the base edition, the screenshots may look different from what players would expect. According to KB_Craft_Creations, they used Axiom and WorldEdit to make this pine forest. They also used Chunky, Sildurs Shaders, and Vanilla Tweaks to optimize their screenshots and make the forest look as realistic as possible. Axiom and WorldEdit are used for terraforming the landscape, while Chunky, Sildurs Shaders, and Vanilla Tweaks revamp the visuals and lighting, making the forest look even better than it would without them.

As Mojang continues to update Minecraft, a pine forest biome could be added in the future. Given the attention to detail in this build, it’s unlikely that the in-game adjustments will match what this player was able to do with mods. While Mojang hasn’t announced a pine forest biome, many gamers anticipate an update to the Birch Forest in the future.
