- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s Season 2 update will introduce three new 6v6 maps on February 7, along with new game modes and features.
- One of the new maps, Stash House, contains a subtle reference to Breaking Bad, with a pizza on a house’s roof, reminiscent of a scene from the show.

A trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3‘s new Multiplayer maps contains a humorous reference to the popular Breaking Bad TV show. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3‘s three new 6v6 maps will be released on February 7 alongside the Season 2 update.
Call of Duty‘s Season 2 update will introduce other Multiplayer features as well, like new game modes in Team Gun Game, Hordepoint LTM, and Snipers Only. Later on in Season 2, Multiplayer will also receive two more game modes in Bounty and Juggermosh LTM, as well as two new map variants for Terminal and Skidrow. Additionally, Season 2 will add a new map for Modern Warfare 3‘s unique War mode, which has been limited to only one level since the game launched. As for the game’s new 6v6 maps, one eagle-eyed fan spotted an interesting detail in a recent trailer.
Call of Duty Reveals Season 2 Battle Pass Plans for MW3 and Warzone
Call of Duty reveals all the content coming with Warzone and Modern Warfare 3’s Season 2 battle pass, which contains plenty of new items.
Reddit user sw3ar posted a screenshot of Modern Warfare 3‘s trailer that showcased the new 6v6 maps. The screenshot showed a pizza lying on a house’s roof in the map Stash House, which seems to be a reference to the popular Breaking Bad scene in which Walt angrily throws a pizza onto the roof of his house after a disagreement with his wife, Skyler. The iconic scene, which was caused by a drug-related argument, is a fitting reference for a map called Stash House, which seems to be a drug-themed name. Stash House appears to be a smaller map that takes place in and around a luxurious house that’s overflowing with loose dollar bills. It will be released on February 7 alongside two other 6v6 maps, Departures and Vista.
What Maps Are Being Added to Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer With Season 2’s Launch?
- Stash House (6v6)
- Vista (6v6)
- Departures (6v6)
- Operation Tin Man (War)
Departures is a medium-large map that takes place in a major airport and allows players to utilize various ranges and sightlines to eliminate opponents. Vista is a medium-sized map that takes place in a Brazilian mountaintop resort, where users battle through gift shops, restaurants, and more. Following Call of Duty‘s troublesome Season 1 Reloaded update, many fans are probably hoping that the game’s next major patch will go much smoother.
Season 2 will also include a crossover event with The Walking Dead, which will launch on February 28 and will allow players to unlock The Walking Dead-themed items in exchange for earning XP. Although Season 2’s zombie theme would seem to suggest that Modern Warfare 3‘s Zombies mode would receive some major new features, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Modern Warfare 3 Zombies fans expressed their disappointment at this realization. After seeing that Season 2 would be zombie-themed, fans of Call of Duty‘s Zombies mode understandably expected to see some significant additions. However, Season 2 will add no new features to Zombies at launch, but mid-season will add a new story mission, dark aether rift, schematics, and warlord.
