A new PC game calls on players to work together to hide a body after accidentally committing murder. The game is called We Are So Cooked, and it’s not to be confused with the upcoming cooking game We Are So Cooked.

We Are So Cooked (the hide-the-body game) has 1-4 players trying to get rid of the evidence in a co-op physics-based stealth experience. The goal is to get the body to the exit, but it’s not easy.

The game’s description mentions that dragging a body alone is slow and not ideal for sneakiness, as dragging a corpse like this leaves a blood trail. When players work together, they can each grab a limb to move faster and more efficiently. But the challenge is that players must coordinate, otherwise the corpse might fall. The physics element of the game comes from how the stiff can get snagged on doorframes or bash into vases, which is no good when you’re trying to hide a dead body.

You can see the debut trailer for We Are So Cooked on Geoff Keighley’s page.

Beyond carrying the body, players need to be sneaky. Any civilian who sees the body will scream, and screaming attracts guards. If a guard catches you, that’s it–you’re busted. The game also features guard dogs who can sniff out bodies in hidden places, while there are also security cameras in hallways that players must navigate around.

We Are So Cooked does not give players any weapons, but players can scavenge the maps for things like a wheelchair to push the corpse in, or a mop to erase any blood trails. Players can also distract civilians and guards by tossing items. Finally, the game only lets you use one hand at a time, so players will need to further coordinate strategically.

We Are So Cooked is in development now for PC but does not have yet have a release date. It’s made by The Dwarven Brothers, who previously developed Altered Anomalies and Zen Quest.
