Nintendo Switch 2 is getting another official new controller, this one with a design based on one of the most popular Pokemon. Since the system’s launch in 2025, Nintendo Switch 2 has seen no shortage of controller options. The system works with most controllers released for the original Switch, but there have also been plenty of new options specifically designed for use with the Switch 2.
Nintendo Switch 2 Getting New Ditto Controller
Ditto has gotten a big focus in the Switch 2 era, thanks to the massive success of Pokemon Pokopia. It should come as no surprise that this Pokemon is the focus of a new controller on the way from manufacturer PowerA. The officially licensed controller is slated for release on October 20, and features a look based on Ditto’s design from Pokemon Red and Green. The company is specifically marketing this as a Switch 2 controller because it has the ability to use features like GameChat, but it’s also compatible with the original Switch. The controller also has mappable buttons and Hall Effect Modules to avoid stick drift. Pre-orders for the controller are available on Amazon for $50.99.
