A brand-new Cyberpunk: Edgerunners release has been announced for 2028, arriving with a massive $899 price tag. While this may price out many Cyberpunk: Edgerunners fans, it also means this new release will be exclusive to those who can afford to pick it up ahead of time.
Initially released in 2022, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an anime produced by CD Projekt RED and Trigger. There have been two series of the anime so far, both of which were met with critical acclaim. The second series was released very recently, and to mark the occasion, CD Projekt RED released Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5, adding a bunch of Edgerunners-related content to the game. Now, though, there’s another new Cyberpunk: Edgerunners release on the way, and it won’t come cheap.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Lucy Prime 1 Studio Statue Officially Announced for 2028
Prime 1 Studio has officially opened pre-orders for its Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Lucy statue. It’s part of the company’s Concept Masterline, which focuses on pieces based on concept art and creative reimaginings rather than depicting a character exactly as they appear on screen. Still, the style here is based on the anime style of the show, making Lucy immediately recognizable to fans.
Pre-orders for the Prime 1 Studio Lucy statue are priced at $899, and it’s expected to be released between March and June 2028. However, it’s easy to see why the statue costs so much with this kind of detail on display. It’s sculpted with a ton of unique textures across Lucy and her outfit, and the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners-themed display base includes LED illumination “to evoke a stark, inorganic cyberspace.” It also comes with two bonus parts: a head stand and a swappable head sculpt depicting Lucy while netrunning. At 1/5 scale, it’s a pretty hefty display piece that will look right at home in any Cyberpunk fan’s collection. Prime 1 Studio’s description of the statue’s details are as follows:
Her refined features, reminiscent of white porcelain, are sculpted with particular attention to a gaze that looks back at the viewer. Her hair is finished in seamlessly blended gradients, while the interface visible at the back of her head is given a cool, mechanical texture. Her sleek netrunner outfit is also sculpted with distinct textures across its different parts, adding a rich level of detail and a sense of realism unique to three-dimensional form.

Compared to other Prime 1 Studio statues, this Lucy piece is on the cheaper side. The company specializes in high-end gaming and TV/movie collectibles that cost an awful lot to pick up, but make up for it with staggering attention to detail. It’s cool to see Cyberpunk: Edgerunners get the Prime 1 Studio treatment, and hopefully there’s even more to come between these two in the future.
Amid the hype around the new Cyberpunk: Edgerunners series, it’s easy to forget that CD Projekt RED is working on the next game in the series at the moment. Development on Cyberpunk 2 is slowly ramping up, although The Witcher 4 remains the studio’s priority. It will likely be a long time before CD Projekt RED is ready to reveal the next Cyberpunk game, meaning fans will just have to remain patient for now.
