Dispatch is coming to mobile on December 9, 2026, as confirmed by developer AdHoc Studio. The hit narrative adventure has steadily landed on more platforms in the months since its release. Soon, a unique format will let players enjoy Dispatch in a whole new light.
Originally released for PC and PlayStation 5 in October 2025, Dispatch is a great story-driven game that quickly became a fan favorite. The choice-based narrative title then made its way to Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 in January 2026, followed by an Xbox Series X/S launch in July. In its first year, Dispatch has sold an impressive five million copies as well. Now, AdHoc Studio is inviting fans to relive Robert Robertson’s story in a more portable way.
Dispatch Is Launching on Mobile on December 9, 2026
AdHoc Studio has shared a trailer for Dispatch’s upcoming iOS and Android mobile release on December 9, 2026. The video starts by showcasing the game in horizontal format on mobile devices. However, the mobile launch has also been rebuilt for touch and vertical play. As seen in the trailer, when Dispatch players choose whether to kiss Blonde Blazer, the game’s choice interface is now seen as a list rather than the original left-or-right display. Pre-registration on Google Play is already available, while pre-orders on the App Store are expected to open soon.

Additionally, Dispatch‘s first four episodes will be available for free on mobile. Unlocking the second half of the story is optional and will cost $19.99. This means that players will get around five hours of gameplay completely free of charge. Support for Google Play Games on PC will also be available starting December 9. It remains to be seen whether the mobile version will eventually have features seen in the Deluxe console and PC editions, such as Storyboard Mode and Commentary Mode. On the other hand, to commemorate the game’s first anniversary, Dispatch is holding a one-night-only live concert on December 3 in Los Angeles featuring music from the video game.
It has been a little over a year since Dispatch‘s initial launch, and the game earned some nominations during the 2025 award season. However, AdHoc Studio has confirmed that Dispatch is eligible for The Game Awards again in 2026, since voters and judges were not able to play the full game last year before nomination eligibility ended. It will be interesting to see whether the superhero workplace comedy makes the cut for this year’s ceremony.
The Game Awards is not the only potential win for Dispatch on sight. The Golden Joystick Awards recently revealed its GOTY nominees, and Dispatch is included in the list. AdHoc Studio’s indie title missed the eligibility window for 2025, so now the game is competing against other major 2026 releases like Resident Evil: Requiem and Pokemon Pokopia. Many players are also waiting for an update on a potential Dispatch sequel, but the developer has not shared any official insight on a second season. Instead, AdHoc Studio’s current focus may be its participation in Until Dawn 2‘s development.
