A new Dragon Ball release is set to launch on November 1. Dragon Ball is one of the most beloved anime/manga franchises of all time, and easily one of the most influential. Dragon Ball‘s legacy can not be overstated, with the classic franchise directly inspiring future mega-hits like Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach, just to name a few. But while Dragon Ball has inspired its fair share of manga and anime, it still has its own brand-new releases as well across a variety of mediums.

The Dragon Ball Super manga is currently on hiatus, but a new and improved version of the Dragon Ball Super anime is airing new episodes, recounting the Beerus arc, as previously seen in the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods anime movie, the original Dragon Ball Super anime, and the Dragon Ball Super manga. As far as video games go, we know that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is in active development, with a release date planned for some time in 2027.

LEGO Dragon Ball Goku & Shenron Price and Release Date

  • Release Date: November 1 (for LEGO insiders) / November 4 (wide release)
  • Price: $179.99
  • Pieces: 1,764

Dragon Ball fans have something to look forward to that’s releasing in the more immediate future, however. The first-ever Dragon Ball LEGO set is set to launch on November 1 for LEGO Insiders, with a wide release scheduled for November 4. The 1,764-piece LEGO Icons Dragon Ball Shenron & Goku (11390) building set features the child version of Goku as seen in the OG Dragon Ball manga and anime, the titular Dragon Balls themselves, and of course, the giant wish-granting dragon Shenron. The set retails for $179.99 USD and will be the first in a new line of Dragon Ball LEGO sets, with more set to release in 2027.

The future Dragon Ball LEGO sets have yet to be revealed, but rumors indicate fans may be able to look forward to sets based on the Kame House, Freeza’s spaceship, and more. Minifigs based on various Dragon Ball characters are also expected to be released. Between the new LEGO sets and the new video game, it seems as though fans of the Dragon Ball franchise already have a lot to look forward to next year.

The new Dragon Ball video game releasing in 2027, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, already has a decent amount of hype behind it. In it, players will be able to create their own custom character, with the ability to utilize the power of iconic Dragon Ball characters and, in some cases, even transform into them. It will feature a similar brand of arena fighter + action-RPG that the previous games in the series offered, and should prove to be one of the biggest Dragon Ball releases of next year.

While there’s a great deal of interest in Xenoverse 3, some fans may be more curious about the potential for a Kakarot sequel. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was a huge hit at the time of its release in 2020, but no sequel has been announced to date. A new entry in the Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Zero/Budokai Tenkaichi series would also likely drum up a great deal of excitement, but also has yet to be announced in any official capacity.
