Fans of GTA are in luck, as a brand-new release has been confirmed to be arriving in GTA Online on July 14. GTA Online players will be able to partake in a new heist with up to three friends that will not only offer large payouts, but some special decorations for player homes, as well.
Excitement for GTA Online has been largely overshadowed by the approaching release of Grand Theft Auto 6. However, it’s been confirmed that GTA 6 won’t have an online mode at launch, so for the foreseeable future, players who want to partake in GTA-style mayhem will have to rely upon the older title. Thankfully, GTA Online is still regularly adding new content, with this new heist being the latest.
GTA Online Kortz Center Heist Arrives on July 14
A new art museum heist is being added to GTA Online on July 14 called the Kortz Center Heist. Mansion owners will be able to get in contact with Mr. Faber and Raf De Angelis to begin the heist, which will task players with the usual phases of staking out the site, building an array of tools for the mission, and finally enacting the plan. This particular heist has a fairly unique twist, tasking players with working with a counterfeiter to create forged versions of the artwork at the museum. These forgeries will be swapped with the originals during the heist, and players will be given the unique opportunity to either sell the real paintings or hang them in their Mansions. Three new paintings will be available to steal each week.

As with other heists, there are some prerequisites for running GTA Online‘s latest addition. The player starting the heist will need to own a GTA Online Mansion and purchase a new Art Studio expansion. Owning a Mansion and Art Studio isn’t required to join another player’s heist, however. Mansion owners who login and play on or before July 13 can get a GTA$1 million discount on the expansion, a free Annihilator Stealth helicopter, a Kortz Center sculpture, and access to a high-value painting that they can choose to sell or keep after stealing.
Additional bonuses are available for all players, regardless of whether they own Mansions or participate in the new heist. Logging in and playing the game prior to July 13 will grant all players GTA$500,000 and a free Benefactor Turreted Limo sedan. Playing any heist in the game during the same period of time will also unlock a free NOOSE outfit and an extra bonus of GTA$1 million. Meanwhile, GTA+ members will be able to get the brand-new Grotti Veleno GT for free starting on July 14, giving subscribers access to the vehicle one week before the general playerbase.
There are plenty of great games to play while waiting for Grand Theft Auto 6 to release. However, it seems like Rockstar will still be giving GTA Online some focus and adding content for players to enjoy. It’s particularly good news for PC gamers who will have to wait longer to try out GTA 6 than their console counterparts.
