Nine years later, Saints Row: The Third received an official remaster, with developer Sperasoft delivering remodeled assets and higher-quality textures and lighting.

Saints Row: The Third Is Coming to iOS and Android on October 29

That 2020 remaster of Saints Row: The Third is officially coming to iOS and Android devices on Thursday, October 29. This mobile port will be content-complete, including not only the base game, but all of Saints Row: The Third‘s DLC as well. This DLC includes story expansions like ‘Gangstas in Space’ and ‘The Trouble with Clones,’ as well as over 30 weapons, vehicles, and customization options. Just like in the original version, the entirety of Saints Row: The Third on mobile will also be playable via online co-op.

By default, Saints Row: The Third on iOS and Android will feature intuitive touchscreen controls. Those wanting a more traditional console or PC-like gameplay experience will also be able to achieve that through the game’s gamepad and mouse and keyboard support. When Saints Row: The Third Remastered launches on iOS and Android on October 29, it’ll retail for $19.99.

While fans will need to wait until the game drops to see how Saints Row: The Third runs on mobile devices, the port should be in good hands. Feral Interactive is behind this upcoming Saints Row mobile port, and it’s a studio that has extensive experience in its field. Founded in 1996, Feral Interactive got its start in the gaming industry by producing ports for macOS. Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, Feral Interactive ported over 120 games to macOS, including a plethora of LEGO games, a handful of Tomb Raider entries, the reboot XCOM series, and an array of Total War titles.

In the late 2010s, Feral Interactive also began porting games to iPadOS and iOS, beginning with Rome: Total War and Grid Autosport. The early 2020s saw Feral Interactive branch out into developing Android ports as well, with Company of Heroes, XCOM 2, and Hitman: Blood Money being some of the studio’s earliest work on Android. In the last few years, Feral Interactive has even tried its hand at developing Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 ports. A few days before Saints Row: The Third‘s mobile launch next week, Feral is set to release Hitman: Absolution for Nintendo Switch 2.
